UC Berkeley — is an American public research university. It offers a summer program for international and local high school students who are interested in technology and entrepreneurship.

The camp at UC Berkeley is organized and implemented by the prestigious College of Engineering and Haas School of Business. This is a highly selective and elite educational course that combines technology and entrepreneurship.

In addition to classes at UC Berkeley, international teenagers get acquainted with university life, communicate with like-minded people and build connections that go beyond the program — all this prepares them to become leaders, innovate and make a significant contribution to the development of future industries.

Students at the UC Berkeley summer camp spend their free time on campus or in the city: they go to discos and stand-up shows, sing karaoke, enjoy the art of hypnotists and magicians, play board games, and celebrate international and American holidays. Camp staff organize atmospheric picnics and barbecues for campers, and accompany them on excursions to the UC Berkeley Botanical Garden, chapel, and other university buildings. In addition, they can participate in themed clubs and circles: from creative workshops to sports sections.

Outside of campus, groups take foreign teenagers into the city where they have access to the best entertainment and locations in Berkeley:

• Gourmet Ghetto business district,
• farmers market,
• Tilden Regional Park
• watching sports games.

• Foreign teenagers study with the titans of the industry, technologists, product managers and marketers from leading technology companies in Silicon Valley, such as Ambi Robotics in Berkeley, Dolby Headquarters in San Francisco and others.
• All students of the summer camp have access to recommendations from specialized employees and resources of the College of Engineering and Haas School of Business for career growth. Already by the end of the first week of study, teenagers will be able to create an outstanding resume and LinkedIn profile.  
• Upon admission to the summer camp based at UC Berkeley, foreign students also receive exclusive access to the active M.E.T. community, where they can communicate with ambitious university students, its successful graduates and pioneers of the industry who are changing the future of technology and entrepreneurship. In addition, students participate in mentoring programs, networking events and joint projects that help them better understand the field of technological business, establish connections that contribute to career growth.
• In addition to education on campus at the summer camp, teenagers participate in unique events in the San Francisco Bay Area, professional sporting events, and visit famous cultural centers.

The tuition fee usually includes:

• the cost of educational program,

• extracurricular activities and excursions every day after lunch, in the evening and on weekends,

• assistance with preparing personal presentations for admission to college after completing the school course,

In addition to university-level learning, teenagers who have completed the M.E.T. summer program at UC Berkeley receive a portfolio documenting their achievements over the summer, including:

• and a final project for the future applicant's portfolio (if there is personal work at the end of the shift).

Students of the summer camp based at UC Berkeley should be interested in everything related to management and entrepreneurship — only then will the course be truly effective. When applying, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• students must have completed grades 10-11,
• they must have taken trigonometry and one science lab intensive (preferably both), receiving a grade of A or B,
• submit an application by the established dates.

UC Berkeley employees are confident that access to quality education in business, entrepreneurship and technology should be available to young people of any origin and social status. Therefore, as part of the summer camp program, some students may receive financial assistance in the form of scholarships. Financial support is available to a limited number of students whose families have difficulty paying for tuition and accommodation for teenagers on campus.
