Master’s Programs, Master's Programs

A Master of Science degree at The Wharton School can be obtained in one of two specializations:

  • Quantitative Finance,
  • Statistics, Data Analytics.

The qualification in «Quantitative Finance» can be obtained immediately after completing an undergraduate program — the master's program lasts one academic year and makes the education continuous. The degree in «Statistics and Data Analytics» is awarded upon completion of two years of study and is considered a transitional stage before entering a doctoral program.

MBA

Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs combine standard study of theory and practical classes on campus plus a three-month summer internship at a partner organization. Students of The Wharton School are offered to choose one or two specializations from an extensive list for in-depth study:

Accommodation, meals, prices

Students of The Wharton School are housed in UPenn residences: undergraduates are required to live on campus for the first four semesters, while students of other years and levels of education may get a room in a university residential building or rent housing off campus. The university has more than 10 complexes providing comfortable accommodation within a few minutes' walk from the academic buildings.

The residences offer single, double, and triple rooms with full furnishings, air conditioning, and access to bathrooms, common lounges, and laundry facilities. Foreign applicants must have a passport, health insurance, a visa or a residence permit to study in the United States. To apply to The Wharton School programs, they must provide:

  • Results of final exams from the previous academic stage, official transcripts,
