In this course academic English lessons (10 per week) and active entertainment activities (15 weekly) are competently combined. The emphasis of academic studies is on the development of literate and fluent oral speech, communicative skills, listening (understanding the English-language text by ear). All lessons are built according to a free, dynamic scheme: these are not only classical classes, but also all sorts of discussions,  role plays and situational practice; In the process of teaching modern teaching materials, textbooks and manuals are used.

Language learning does not end in the classroom - students continue to practice their skills during sports games and competitions, a variety of shows and parties organized by the camp's teachers, they are all scheduled for 25 per week.

  • English as a Second Language

This rather intensive program focuses on the development of speech and communication skills - teachers do everything possible to communicate in English for the student was not more difficult than at home. Before the beginning of the course, all children undergo special testing, which results will distribute them to differentiated groups - the age of the students and the level of knowledge are taken into account. Description of Village Camps Swallowdale Summer Camp

The Village Camps Swallowdale Camp is conveniently located in Ontario, in Huntsville, on the shore of Lake Fairy. The total territory of the campus reaches 39 hectares of picturesque high-mountainous peaks of Muskoka. The camp has been working for children from all over the world since 1943 and provides excellent opportunities for fun and educational holidays. Due to the successful location of the Camp Swallowdale Camp summer camp, students are given ample opportunities for active recreation and sports, especially for aquatic species. Participants of the programs can practice both classical versions of games (for example, tennis or volleyball), and try their hand at, say, archery - for this there is a special court and necessary inventory on the territory. Also, students can try themselves in wood carving (there is a specially equipped class for this), and more than 30 hectares of green forest are available for bike rides and hiking.

Accommodation, meals, prices

For the students prepared cozy and comfortable houses in rural style - each of them is designed for 6-10 people, there is a bathroom.
