Prestigious and famous (not only in the US, but also in the world) Kean University in the summer of 2017 opens a new summer camp for schoolchildren from around the world! This is an amazing opportunity to improve your language skills (especially spoken English), to meet new friends from around the world, to learn a lot about American history and culture and just to have fun! Located in New Jersey (the west coast of the United States), the university makes it easy to travel between cities and states - especially children remembered a trip to New York, the heart of the American dream.

The University is located 12 kilometers from the New Ark International Airport (transfer fee is already included) and 50 kilometers from John F. Kennedy Airport (a group transfer for a small extra charge), the main air gates of New York: to get to the summer camp will be easy and fast. You can get to the Big Apple in 40 minutes on regular trains.

What is the refund or cancellation policy in case of unforeseen circumstances?

We have a flexible refund and cancellation policy that takes into account unforeseen circumstances such as illness, travel restrictions, or emergencies. We understand that plans may need to change, and we work with parents to accommodate their needs whenever possible.

Students follow a strict schedule, which includes hours for getting up and going to bed, visiting the dining room, classes and extracurricular activities. Throughout their stay in the camp, each student is surrounded by comprehensive support and attention, thanks to which he feels comfortable, safe and receives only positive emotions from the summer holidays in the United States.

Accommodation: twin apartment configuration with double occupancy bedrooms, with a bathroom and kitchenette

Meals are organized according to the full boarding system, buffet (special cards are given to the students).

Every day a variety of sports games, matches and competitions are held, games in the evenings help to improve communicative abilities at the same time, and various circles and electives - to develop the personal talents of each student. During the week there are 2 trips to New York (day and evening), as well as a full two-day tour for the whole weekend.

The campus of Barnard College, Columbia University is located in the heart of upper Manhattan, in the Morningside Heights area, adjacent to seven major American universities. The area offers an extensive selection of shops and restaurants, an abundance of green spaces, and a campus atmosphere. The road to New York will take about an hour by public transport.

The learning area offers modern classrooms, self-study and individual study areas, equipped rooms and open spaces for events. There is a fitness center with cardio and weight training equipment, and outdoor playgrounds.

Applicants fill out a detailed questionnaire, provide personal documents and pay the registration fee. The center's staff conducts a short interview in order to learn more about the future student, as well as an assessment language test. Considering applications in turn, the admissions committee recruits groups according to the level of the language and invites them to study.

Each week, the summer camp accommodates up to 150 students, recruiting new students subject to availability.

Upon completion of the course, students receive a graduation certificate confirming their progress in learning English: the number of hours attended, initial and current levels of linguistics. Thanks to the knowledge and skills gained, the certificate students can continue their education in an English-speaking institution and confidently speak English in everyday life, travel easily.

The summer course is aimed at students from 13 to 17 years old who have any level of English proficiency. The main requirement for studying at a language center is a valid passport, health insurance, visa or residence permit.

In addition, students have access to the Employability English business elective, which requires an age of 14 years or more and knowledge of English from B1.
