English+

  • Age - from 12 to 17 years,

The English+ summer course combines learning English and classes with a professional trainer in one of the following areas:

  • Basketball
  • Dancing
  • Soccer
  • Filming,
  • Tennis.

Students can choose an area of interest and attend training sessions with a group of like-minded people throughout their stay at the school or change activities every week.

Academic studies are based on the acquisition and development of skills such as reading and writing, grammar, pronunciation and listening comprehension, vocabulary. By studying in groups of up to 15 people, students will develop self-confidence and teamwork abilities.

The curriculum includes 15 hours of English classes every week + 6 hours of the chosen activity. In addition to the exciting learning, there are several half-day and full-day excursions, evening activities on campus.

Intensive English

The Intensive English Program aims to achieve success in a shorter time than other courses offer. The serious curriculum includes 21 hours of classes per week and about 20 hours of activities, excursions and entertainment that complement the academic component.

In the process of studying, students will gain reading and writing skills, learn grammar and vocabulary, easily be able to perceive speech by ear and speak fluently. The study load will prepare students for further education in an English-speaking environment.

Upon completion of the training, each graduate will receive a LinguaSkill Speaking qualification, confirming their fluent English speaking skills.

Future Leaders: Entrepreneurship

  • Age - from 14 to 17 years,
  • The training period is two weeks.

The English course for aspiring entrepreneurs is aimed at teaching students from 14 to 17 years old and having a level of linguistics not lower than B2. The program specializes in developing skills and drawing up a business plan for the implementation of ideas and projects.

In the process of learning, students will improve basic skills: critical thinking, teamwork, discussion, leadership, and others. With the help of full-time teachers and invited specialists, students will understand the basics of building a business and developing projects, gain applied knowledge and will be able to present their own business project at the graduation event.

Among the invited speakers are specialists in the field of public speaking and acting, founders of large companies with many years of entrepreneurial experience. The program is held in the format of a conference, so students will not lose interest in learning.

The two-week curriculum includes 42 hours of academic studies and about 40 hours of entertainment: events, trips, sports and creative events.

Future Leaders: World Leaders

  • Age - from 14 to 17 years,
  • The training period is two weeks.

This course aims to educate students interested in global issues: climate change, politics, the environment. During the program, students will study the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals, visit organizations in London, Oxford and Cambridge and gain important skills: the ability to debate, think critically and work in a team.

The course follows the 17 UN goals: renewable energy, diversity and inclusion, health, gender equality and others, which are a call to action for all countries. Students can focus on one of them and work on a personalized presentation that they will present at the graduation event.

The curriculum of two weeks of study consists of 42 hours of academic classes and 40 hours of activities: trips and excursions, events on campus in the afternoon and evening.

Discover English

  • Age of participants: 12-17 years old,
  • Duration of the program: 1-5 weeks,
  • Level for enrollment: any, from beginner,
  • Classes of up to 15 people.

The Discover English Summer Programme is designed to introduce teenagers aged 12-17 to the world of the English language and British culture. At the end of the course, the graduate will not only significantly improve their English (in particular, speaking skills and vocabulary), they will make new friends from all over the world, try new hobbies and sports, get acquainted with the main attractions of the UK, and will be able to study more successfully in English-speaking countries and educational institutions in the future.

Students can expect English lessons (15 hours weekly) in the morning and themed activities, including excursions and activities, in the afternoon to help consolidate what they have learned and hone their skills in a real conversational environment. The course includes interesting thematic lessons – each week is dedicated to a different topic:

  • Our planet environment,
  • Our World: World Culture,
  • Our space: news, media, environment, information field,
  • Our Future: Science and Technology,
  • Our community.

This approach helps not only to improve your knowledge of English, but also to deepen your understanding of other school subjects and disciplines, and at the same time to develop valuable personal and academic skills (leadership, teamwork, self-confidence).

Classes are taught by experienced teachers who are specially accredited to work with young students, including foreigners for whom English is not their native language.

Before the start of training, all newcomers undergo a language test, which assigns them to a suitable group according to their level of knowledge.

Summer Camp IH London conducts summer English language courses in the building of the prestigious St. Edward's School.

The programs are available to children from 12 to 17 years old from anywhere in the world and with any level of linguistics. The teaching staff will help create an individual plan for achieving success in learning, support in difficult academic situations and give recommendations upon completion. Some courses include seminars by guest speakers. Each program includes language classes, many excursions and recreational activities on campus, which will make the summer holidays fun and exciting.

Accommodation, meals, prices

Students live in single, double, triple and quadruple rooms - boys separately from girls. Each of the residents has personal furniture: a study table, a bed, a place to store valuables and a wardrobe. Cleaning and change of bed linen in the rooms are carried out once a week. Bathrooms are shared, but are in use by no more than five students.

All students are provided with a balanced meal: hot and cold meals are served in the large dining room in buffet format. The menu includes dishes from different cuisines of the world, which brings variety to everyday life. If the child has dietary or medical characteristics, professional chefs will prepare an alternative menu for him.

Activities Oxford Summer Camp for kids

In the daily schedule, a lot of time is devoted to entertainment and events - every evening theme parties, intellectual games, movie nights, barbecues, talent shows and others are organized on campus. All students come together to socialize, establishing friendships.
