St. Petersburg Law Academy has been active in the field of creating competitive specialists in the field of "Jurisprudence" for 25 years. Over the years of its existence, about 4,000 qualified specialists have graduated from the Academy.

Periodically, the works of the teaching staff of the Academy are published: monographs, scientific articles, lecture courses, scientific and practical manuals and comments on regulatory legal acts.
On the basis of the Academy, scientific events are held: conferences, seminars, round tables.
Things to know about
In 2019, a partnership agreement was concluded between SYA and Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov (Belarus).
Accommodation, meals, prices
Nonresident full-time students are provided with a place in the dormitory on the basis of an agreement concluded between the St. Petersburg State Technological Institute and the St. Petersburg Law Academy. At the disposal of SYA there is a separate household area (kitchen) with all the necessary appliances (in the educational building of the Academy).
Activities St. Petersburg Law Academy
To address issues arising during education and protect the rights of students, a Student Council has been created on the basis of the Academy. One of the tasks of the Council is to create conditions for a harmonious environment for the learning and development of SAA students.
Every year students attend sports competitions, participate in volunteer movements, visit museums and excursions of the city.
Facilities and equipment at St. Petersburg Law Academy
The building of the Academy is located in the Nevsky district of St. Petersburg, opposite the metro station "Proletarskaya".
Classrooms in SAA are equipped with the necessary furniture and computer equipment, video projectors are installed in the classrooms. The academic building of the Academy is equipped with classrooms for practical education: a legal clinic, a courtroom, a forensic laboratory and two computer classes with Internet access.
At the disposal of the Academy there are additionally: a library and a reading room, a sports hall, a medical center and a dining room.
Admission dates and extra charges
The academic year in SIA lasts from September 1 to June 30, divided into two semesters. The semester ends with an intermediate certification in the form of an examination session. Holidays 2 times a year: winter (2 weeks) and summer (2 months).

Enrolment process
Applicants to the Academy should submit the following documents when applying for admission:
- Application for admission to the university;
- Identity and citizenship document (passport);
- Document on education (certificate or diploma);
- 2 photos for personal file and student (size 3cm×4cm);
- SNILS (copy);
- Medical certificate in the form 086-U (for those entering the full-time form);
- Results of the Unified State Exam or internal written testing.
Documents are submitted in person to the admission committee of the Academy.
Enrolment statistics
The Academy allocates places for education exclusively on a fee basis. In the direction of "Jurisprudence" in 2022, 165 places were allocated, of which 150 places were allocated at the expense of individuals and 15 places on the basis of educational contracts with legal entities.
In the direction of the specialty "Court Case", 99 places were allocated: 90 - at the expense of individuals and 9 - at the expense of legal entities.
Perspectives
The SIA has a Center for The Promotion of Employment of Graduates, and job fairs are held annually for students of the last year.
Among the graduates of the Academy are deputies of municipalities of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, deputies of the State Duma, employees of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation, civil servants, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the Federal Customs Service, etc.
