Summer English for children and schoolchildren

  • Age of students: 12-17 years
  • Lessons per week: 20 (50 minutes each)
  • Number of children in the class: up to 15 (the ratio with teachers is 20: 1, on excursions - 15: 1)
  • Level for start: any, from the initial (A1 and above).

A summer English course is what you need if you want to tighten up your knowledge and at the same time have a good rest, recharge your batteries for the rest of the year. The combined program combines the General English course (20 lessons per week) with a rich extracurricular and entertainment program: so learning the language will be pleasant and easy, all the knowledge gained in the lessons will be immediately fixed in a real atmosphere of communication. At the end of the program, each participant will receive a branded certificate, which will be able to replenish his personal portfolio.

Lessons are held from 9:00 to 13:00 hours, followed by lunch - and then for students there are ample opportunities for recreation, creativity and entertainment. If desired, students can add useful options to the main course - they are not paid additionally, already included in the course price:

  1. Exam Skills – preparation for language/academic exams for those who want to continue their studies abroad;
  2. Performing Arts – for lovers of the stage: useful master classes, the subtleties of the acting profession, the preparation of small performances;
  3. University Studies Taster is for those who want to try themselves in the role of a student of a British university.

The School of English and Wizardry

  • Duration of the program: 1 week
  • Age of students: 12-17 years.

A unique thematic program for everyone who is in love with the world of magic and enchantment! The creators and organizers were inspired by the Harry Potter universe and developed a summer course that will appeal to all fans of the story of the Boy-Who-Survived.

What is included in the program:

  • 15 lessons of English (General English, in the morning)
  • 5 thematic "magic" lessons: ready to replenish your vocabulary with magic terms?
  • 5 special events in the evenings – for real wizards! Quidditch, potions and spells lessons, quiz, etc.
  • 1 full-day thematic excursion to the most mysterious and mysterious place in England. These could be the Natural History Museum (where films were filmed), Harry Potter Studio (the main theme theme park in England), King's Cross Station and Platform 9 3/4.

Accommodation, meals, prices

Pupils are accommodated in oxford Brookes University residences: single rooms, shared baths (one for five pupils). Guests' meals also include packed lunches on excursion and travel days. Laundry, vending machines, cafes and shops are available, 24/7 security is provided, WiFi is available in the rooms.

Activities Junior Summer School Oxford

Of course, students devote a lot of time to walks around Oxford: an introductory tour, a thematic walk through the historic center, a tour of the legendary Oxford University. For each week there are 2 full-day excursions and three half-day walks. Students go to Cambridge, and to London, to Stratford-upon-Avon (the birthplace of Shakespeare). Excursion options:

Facilities and equipment at Junior Summer School Oxford

The summer school is based on the campus of Oxford Brookes University: it is a green, well-groomed, modern area where there is everything you need for living, studying and recreation, entertainment. Spacious bright classrooms with digital equipment and projectors, cozy outdoor recreation areas, its own sports fields and basketball courts are the best conditions to learn English, especially during the summer holidays. The territory is a short bus ride from the city center, Oxford is a fairly compact city.

You can get to Heathrow International Airport in less than an hour, to central London - in an hour and a half.
