St. Dominic's Grammar School — a private school for students aged 2 to 18, located in the countryside of Staffordshire.

Since its foundation and until 2017, the institution specialized in educating girls; only in the last eight years has co-education been organized in classes. Today, St. Dominic's Grammar School prepares students of all ages, annually teaching no more than 280 students. Focusing on an individual approach, comprehensive support, and a wide range of development opportunities, the school maintains high standards and competes with leading schools both within the county and the country.

At St. Dominic's Grammar School, children are offered a wide range of academic subjects, extracurricular clubs and sections, with additional support for gifted students and those who experience difficulties in learning a particular subject.

St. Dominic's comprises four academic departments:

• Nursery — ages 2 to 4,
• Pre-Prep&Prep — ages 5 to 10-11,
• Senior — ages 11-12 to 16,
• Sixth Form — ages 16-17 to 18.

St. Dominic's operates on a daytime basis and does not offer accommodation services.

Our own catering team provides students with a varied menu featuring both hot and cold dishes, as well as recipes from different countries and dietary options. The menu is updated every four weeks to offer meals with seasonal vegetables and fruits.

The extracurricular life of St. Dominic's Grammar School students consists of four areas: sports, music, performing arts, and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. As students get older, they are offered an increasingly wide range of sections and clubs, opportunities for out-of-curricular development.

The main sports at the school are considered to be netball, football, rounders and cricket. Training sessions for these sports are held seasonally: spring-autumn and winter-summer, and competitions are usually organized at the end of the season.

More than half of the students attend classes with specialized teachers in orchestral instruments, piano, guitar, percussion and solo singing. In a modern recording studio equipped with the latest technology, students can improve and develop their musical abilities by recording their own songs and trying their hand at performing already famous pieces. All students involved in music clubs enjoy participating in musical performances, internal and external events. The Faculty of Performing Arts includes several creative areas: fine arts, textiles and dramatic arts. All students are invited to join the choir, take up dancing or study acting under the guidance of experienced teachers. Throughout the year, a variety of dramatic and musical performances are held on campus, where children of all ages delight audiences with full-scale musical productions.

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award — is a popular academic project that allows students to reveal their talents in sports, creativity, social work and travel. The award has several levels of achievement: from the initial level, where children simply do what they love, to the progressive one, where students compete with others, gaining unique experience. Participation in the project will provide students with the opportunity to develop personal qualities: leadership, responsibility, time management, creativity.

The learning area of St. Dominic's Grammar School is located in the countryside of Brewood. The school occupies a Victorian-style brick building with large windows, which includes:

• Library, reading room and self-study areas.

You can also find an indoor sports complex, open areas for pair and team sports, playgrounds, walking and recreation areas on the premises.

The school has its own fleet of buses, which provides students with a safe commute to and from classes.

Education at St. Dominic's Grammar School is organized into three trimesters:

• Autumn: September-December,
• Spring: January-April,
• Summer: April-July.

Classes are held on weekdays from 8:45 to 15:45-16:45, with breaks during holidays and weekends, and school vacations.

The main age for admission is 11 years old, however new students are accepted into other grades as well (subject to availability). To apply, applicants must have a foreign passport, health insurance and certificates, a visa or residence permit. During the application process, candidates will be assessed for their academic and language proficiency, after which the admissions committee will make a decision on enrollment.

St. Dominic's annually awards a number of scholarships based on outstanding student achievements in academics, sports and creativity. The award may cover part or the full cost of tuition.
