Swiss schools are considered the most expensive in the world: the cost of a year of study can reach 120,000 Swiss francs. The final cost will depend on:
- Child's age . The lower and middle grades are cheaper.
- Accommodation option. If the child lives with his parents - residents of Switzerland - and attends school only during the day, the cost will be significantly lower than in the case of a permanent stay at a boarding house.
- Of the selected program . Since different schools offer different courses (Swiss Matura, A - level, IB, French Baccalaureate, Abitur), the cost will vary.
- Availability of additional sports activities, individual lessons with teachers, etc.
Do not forget about the additional costs: air travel, student visa, medical insurance, child's personal expenses and extracurricular activities.
The total cost could be CHF 150,000 or more per year.
