The organizer of this summer school is the International Training Center for English, opened in 2002. In total, the company has six points where summer language courses for children are held. Every year, children from more than 60 countries of the world study at the branches of the school, and many here like it so much that they return again. One of them is based in the prestigious British school Shrewsbury School: this is an old educational institution, founded back in 1552. Graduates of this school were such famous personalities as Charles Darwin - thanks to him the school became known to the whole world.

This is an intensive English study program that includes 28 English classes per week. The minimum duration of program is 2 weeks. Classes are held in groups of 10-12 people. Two teachers are responsible for the course: one focuses on the development of basic language skills (grammar, speech, listening), the other holds seminars and master classes (putting knowledge into practice).

On the day of arrival, each student is tested to determine the starting knowledge, after which there is a distribution in a suitable group. Also, the test data helps teachers track progress.

In the framework of the “English + Multi-Activity” program, students can also pass the popular English exam - Trinity Exam in Spoken English.

Sports and Dance Academy + English

Such a program gives children and teenagers to combine learning English with dancing or sports: the course includes 15 academic hours + 15 hours of classes in selected physical activity. In English classes, students receive knowledge of the main aspects (grammar, speech, reading).

Sports or dancing are held from Monday to Friday in the morning. It may be:

  • Golf on the professional courses of the city golf club
  • Horseback riding

Such a program will interest fans of technology and new technologies, because robotics will be combined here with English. The course includes 15 academic hours + 15 hours of additional activity. Under the program, children will be able to:

  • Create and program a robot arm
  • Build a computer Raspberry Pi to create your own business
  • Work with schemes of red stone in Minecraft (analogue of real electrical circuits)
  • Create BrickPi robots and program them to perform different tasks.

Accommodation, housing and food

Students at Shrewsbury School Summer Camp are accommodated in campus residences. Boys and girls live separately.

The children are offered bright and cozy 1-2-bed rooms or larger rooms - for 3-5 people (the latter are designed for younger students and have a separate bathroom, for the rest of the guests the bathroom and shower are on the floor). The dormitories made a fresh repair and updated furniture.
