Sherrardswood School is a small private school for children from 2 to 18 years old, located in rural Hertfordshire, England.

Sherrardswood was founded in 1928 in Welvin Garden City, which was also just beginning its history. The school's founder, Ethel Joy Wragg, brought together local parents to discuss the creation of the city's first children's school, choose a chairman, and work out a plan. In September, the school opened its doors to three high school students; Over the following years, the institution changed its location, acquired its own campus, expanded the range of taught programs and recruited a team of highly qualified teachers. Today, Sherrardswood School has all the necessary accreditations, recognition of national assessment agencies and the trust of hundreds of students who gain knowledge in preschool, elementary, middle and high school.

Sherrardswood School aims to reveal each student as a multifaceted personality, help students find their strengths and develop talent to continue their academic path at the best universities in England and abroad. An individual approach to students is the most important aspect of the educational process, thanks to which all students are under sensitive and caring supervision: teachers monitor academic progress, help in choosing extracurricular areas for leisure and development, and mentor in the process of choosing a university.

Due to the small size of the school, the limited number of pupils in groups, the educational process is based on the individual attention of teachers to each student. By offering comprehensive support both during and outside of class hours, teachers are sensitive to monitoring students' progress, guiding them and helping them choose extracurricular development pathways, university or college for further learning. Depending on the age, abilities and goals of the student, teachers select a unique plan for improving their strengths, thanks to which all students achieve excellent results.

Sherrardswood offers programs at all stages of school education:

• Nursery — preschool department for children 2-4 years old,
• Prep-School – preparatory groups, primary classes for students 5-11 years old,
• Senior School — education in grades 7-11 for students 12-16 years old,
• Sixth Form – final grades 12-13.

The school does not have residences, does not offer off-campus accommodation.

Hot and cold meals, healthy snacks and drinks are served daily in the dining room. A meal plan that includes only lunches is drawn up at the beginning of the school year.

For each age group of students, a leisure program has been created, including development in different directions: sports, creative, cultural.

Sports are included in the educational plan of all school stages, taught by qualified coaches. Students will be able to try their hand at various individual and team types:

Exhibitions of works, festive events are regularly organized on campus, in which almost all students take part.

Much attention is paid to the study of the culture and sights of the region: students visit museums and galleries in London, enjoy the natural beauty of the countryside, and participate in introductory tours of the campuses of leading universities in England.

The school is open on weekdays: Monday to Friday.
