Early Years Programme

  • Age – from 3 years old,
  • The term of study is four years.

The early childhood education curriculum covers seven areas of child development: three core areas that are key and four specific areas that support them. The fundamental ones will be:

  • Personal, social and emotional development,
  • Physical development,
  • Development of communication and language.

Four specific areas are subjects and their interdisciplinary treatment, allowing students to learn more about the world around them and their abilities, and gain important life skills:

  • Literacy
  • Mathematics
  • Understanding the world,
  • Expressive art and design.

A combination of activities with playful and exploratory approaches supports interest in learning about the world around them through action, and a wide range of elective lessons such as music and physical education will help students find their talent and strengths.

Effective and comprehensive preparation of girls in the pre-school department will enable them to successfully transition to primary school.

Key Stage 2: 3-6 Grades

  • Age – from 8 years old,
  • The term of study is four years.

In grades 3-6, students follow a more rigorous academic plan, gradually immersing themselves in a more detailed consideration of each discipline. The class teacher teaches students English, mathematics and humanities, and specialized teachers conduct classes in such subjects as:

  • Physical education
  • Computer Science,
  • Art, design,
  • Music
  • Spanish
  • Science.

In addition to a wide range of extracurricular clubs, sports sections and creative groups, students attend long excursions and residential trips, participate in seminars with invited specialists, compete with pupils of other schools in team sports.
