The Power Speaking and Advanced Discussion programs focus on learning to communicate in English, help you easily cope with the language barrier, and the Accent Reduction program allows you to get rid of the accent. Academic English Pre-Academic programs cover training in all areas of study in Canada’s institutions of higher education, including research, presentations, and writing essays.

The 12-week course of the ESL Foundation offers adult learners to optimally develop four basic English skills: listening, speaking, reading, writing. Students at the Royal Canadian Institute of International Studies are housed in carefully selected host families. Family accommodation gives you the opportunity to learn more about the local culture in a comfortable setting. Most families live in 25-50 minutes by public transport from school and offer homemade food, which will allow you to get acquainted with the local cuisine. Pupils with special requirements or dietary restrictions (for religious / medical reasons) are advised to warn them in advance. Students live in single rooms. Check-in takes place on Sunday on the eve of the first day of class and ends on Saturday after the last day of class.
