Robert Morris University (RMU) is a private university that was founded back in 1921 and named after Robert Morris. To date, it has more than 5 thousand students, it offers 60 bachelor's programs and 35 master's and doctoral programs. Most of the students hail from Pittsburgh, with 16% of freshmen coming from outside Pennsylvania.
The university has classes online and on campus in the city center, which is also home to the Bayer Nonprofit Management Center. The university offers additive manufacturing education in a 3D printing lab and classroom at the Center for Energy Innovation in the Lower Hill area.

Accommodation, meals, prices
The RMU residential complex offers 8 hostels in the traditional style: Ross, Hamilton, Adams, Gallatin, Madison, Monroe, Hancock and Marshall Hall. Each building has private, double and triple rooms. All rooms are equipped with two single xl beds, desks and chairs, a chest of drawers and a wardrobe for each student. On the floor there are shared bathrooms, laundry rooms and a living room. In most cases, co-education is accepted, but genders are divided into floors.
All dormitories have the following accommodation facilities:

Each dorm room on campus has the ability to connect to Wi-Fi and a wired Ethernet network. Students can connect their personal computers and laptops to a secure Wi-Fi RMU network.

Facilities and equipment at Robert Morris University
The main campus covers an area of 230 acres in the town of Moon, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Pittsburgh, near Pittsburgh International Airport. The main building of the campus is Nicholson Center, which has a dining room and conference rooms, classrooms, teachers' offices, a bookstore. It is adjacent to the Patrick Henry Center, which houses a library, television studio, numerous offices and classrooms.
The School of Business building houses the PNC Shopping Center, the United States Steel Corporation Video Conferencing and Technology Center, the ATI Center, classrooms, and the President's Office. Scaife Center is the newest educational building on campus, opened in 2015; it is home to the Centre for Regional Studies and Innovation in Simulation Learning (RISE). The Wheatley Center is home to the School of Computer Science, Humanities, and Social Sciences.
Unlike similar facilities at other institutions, AMC studios and labs are not reserved only for specific classes or programs, but are inclusive and accessible for media study by all RMU students.
