Early Years

  • Age - from two years,

The Pre-School department takes care of children from 2 to 4 years old. For the youngest students, a diverse atmosphere has been created, focused on the comprehensive development of each schoolchildren.

Children participate in daily English-language phonic classes, one-on-one lessons, and hands-on multisensory math; Additionally, the schedule includes classes in music, French, allowing students to create a base of knowledge and creative skills. In the afternoon, preschoolers participate in specialized activities, from the Outdoor Forest School to swimming lessons.

Prep School

Pre-Prep School is focused on teaching students from senior preparatory groups to the second grade of elementary school. At this stage, teachers create a more rigorous atmosphere so that schoolchildren gradually adapt to the further educational phase, while students continue to study subjects in a playful way that develop creativity, personal skills, curiosity about the world around them and the ability to work together. The main disciplines in the curriculum are English and mathematics, in addition to them, a variety of sports and creativity, master classes and much more, focused on revealing the talents of children, are connected to them.

Starting from the third grade, the program of schoolchildren includes natural, computer, and humanitarian sciences. A wide range of subjects allows students to choose an area they enjoy and continue exploring it in middle and high school. An interdisciplinary approach will teach children to apply the knowledge gained in practice, to understand the relationship between different sciences and their applied features in real life. Physical activity takes at least five hours a week, the list of available sections is already replenished with competitive sports.

Until the end of the sixth grade, students follow the general program, gradually preparing for the academically rigorous high school curriculum.

Middle School: Grades 7-8

Grades 7-8 in the Pocklington School curriculum are important years when the student is offered a wide range of academic disciplines to explore their talents, interests, and passions. The knowledge and applied skills base that is formed at this stage will provide international students with the opportunity to learn more effectively in the future. Senior School: GCSE

The Senior School program includes instruction in grades 9-11 and offers a choice of important subjects that determine the academic path for the next few years and lay a solid foundation for further specialized study at the Sixth Form level.

GCSE disciplines are introduced in Year 9 to form an individual curriculum. A small number of compulsory subjects this year allows students to make the right choice of scientific areas for the exam. High school students who have progressed to the Sixth Form level are offered a choice from a wide range of A-Level subjects along with BTEC professional courses to help them create an individual academic plan and achieve their learning goals. Initially, students are given a free choice from the list of courses offered, which are collected in blocks. You must choose three A-Level subjects or equivalent, and there are over 28 subjects to choose from, including:
