On the campus of Oxford International College, a summer English program is taught. It is aimed at students from 13 to 18 years old from both the UK and other countries.

Summer courses aim to provide a top-notch educational experience from the best universities and boarding schools in the UK. The pedagogical approach involves learning and teaching outside the classroom: on trips, on excursions, in an online format.

The Summer School recognizes the importance of environmental responsibility. Many of the courses are aimed at inspiring pupils to social responsibility and the desire for positive change. For example, the flagship Young Professionals course fosters strong leadership skills through a curriculum based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals.   Here in the United Kingdom, one of the most carbon-intensive countries, the institution has a responsibility to take sustainable action on climate change. The school is currently working with a variety of partners, suppliers, and agents to reduce the human impact on the environment. Together, students will strive to create meaningful sustainability initiatives for the future.    

All employees receive safety training before teaching, regardless of whether they have worked in educational institutions before or not. Future teachers learn intensive face-to-face training with head office staff prior to the start of the course to ensure that all protocols and policies are followed.  Each course has at least two staff members who have been trained in first aid who will be able to help children with any injuries or health problems.

All boarding houses divide students by age and gender for their comfort and safety.

Students from 13 to 16 years old are accommodated in a modern residential building on Thames Street. Upon request sent to the staff in advance, the student can get a room next door to his friend or an individual room with a private bathroom, if it is available.

Students from 16 to 18 years old are settled in the student building, whose appearance resembles a real castle. They are equipped with single rooms with sleeping and working areas, shared bathrooms and toilets, self-study and recreation classes.

In addition to interesting and effective training sessions, the academic program includes a variety of entertainment both on and off campus. Students regularly attend educational excursions that allow them to broaden their horizons, learn about local culture and customs, improve their knowledge of history, art, sports and many other aspects of life. Extracurricular trips are also a great way to practice the acquired language knowledge, because in the city students are waiting for local native speakers, tourists from different countries.

Whether it's a trip to the London Eye Ferris wheel with breathtaking views of central London, a private tour of various Cambridge and Oxford universities, or sports competitions, the social program will involve all students without exception.

Students of summer programs will study at Threeways , an educational building located in the center of Oxford. The building is equipped with modern classrooms and laboratories, common spaces for communication in between classes. The proximity to the campuses of the country's leading universities and colleges, venues of international exhibitions and concerts, restaurants and numerous entertainment centers makes the summer holidays of students unforgettable and diverse.

The nearest airports (Heathrow and Gatwick) are no more than an hour away. They can be reached both by private car and by public transport or taxi.

Each classroom is supervised by a specialized advisor who manages the day-to-day operation of the program. Students are supported by a Director of Instruction, who oversees the academic aspects of the course, and an activity manager, who creates a schedule of activities and excursions. Students' day-to-day extracurricular lives are unobtrusively supervised by counselors and personal mentors who care for students pastorally, culturally, and socially.  

Most of the teachers live on campus, round-the-clock assistance and support to the school's boarders. Day or night, students can talk to staff about any concerns.

The institution offers a free shuttle service for students arriving at major UK airports between 10:00 and 20:00 daily. When the student arrives at the airport, the counselor will be waiting for him in the arrivals area. 

Training in summer programs lasts two or four weeks.

To study at the summer courses at Oxford International College, you need to go through several stages:

• Contact the admissions office and check availability,
• Fill out the registration form, attaching the required documents to it,
• Get a positive response from an admissions officer,
• Pay a non-refundable deposit for booking a place on the course,
• Arrive on campus by the start of training.

Before filling out the application form, you need to take care of the longevity of the passport, the availability of a visa and medical insurance.

All candidates who meet the entry requirements are enrolled in the programs. Enrollment occurs in descending order of vacant places in classes that number up to 11 people.

At the end of the summer course, students are issued a certificate containing information about the effectiveness of the training completed: the initial level of English and the final one. This certificate will complement the student's personal portfolio and can help avoid some of the entrance tests for admission to school or college.

Admission to summer programs is carried out on the basis of existing knowledge in English - applicants are required to have a level of linguistics from B1, that is, average.

The courses are designed for students from 13 to 18 years old. They need to provide a number of personal documents: their passport and one of the parents, medical insurance, student visa or residence permit.
