Newbury Hall School also operates during school holidays, offering intensive English courses in small groups with full-time student engagement throughout the day. The cozy campus in Newbury is designed for a limited number of students, so each student can expect individual attention, a high level of safety and an atmosphere of trust. The program is suitable for those who want to gain a bright and useful language experience in an international environment with constant English practice outside the classroom.

The learning process begins with a language test on the first day. Training takes place in small groups, averaging 10 people, with an emphasis on speaking practice, project work and developing confidence in communication.

Classes are held in the first half of the day, and in the second — sports, creative and communicative activities, which also take place in English. Teachers live on campus and participate in all parts of the program, supporting learning not only in the classroom but also in everyday situations.

Newbury Hall is distinguished by its attention to atmosphere and detail: a full-fledged language environment is created here. To ensure that children really speak English, the school limits the number of students of one nationality — this prevents participants from closing in their circle and encourages them to use English in real everyday communication.

A special tradition — evening cocoa before bedtime: every day ends with a common meeting over a mug of hot drink, where children share impressions, relax and smoothly switch to a calm mode. This helps to get used to the new environment faster and feel at home.

Many students return here year after year, and parents happily recommend the school to friends.

Students live directly on the school grounds in a separate residence — this is a four-story building with single rooms, each equipped with its own bathroom. Girls and boys are housed on different floors, staff living here together with the students monitor order and safety around the clock. The building has an electronic access system and video surveillance.

Meals are provided in a full board format: breakfast, lunch and dinner in the dining room, taking into account individual diets and dietary restrictions if necessary. There are additional snacks throughout the day, and evening cocoa before bedtime — a traditional element of the program. Laundry is done once a week.

The extracurricular program is packed and includes daily activities and a minimum of three excursions per week: two full-day trips and one half-day trip. Popular destinations include London with visits to museums and theaters, Windsor Castle, Oxford, and the famous Highclere Castle. Trips are scheduled in advance and accompanied by school staff.

In the evening, students enjoy themed events: quizzes, talent shows, board games, sports competitions, quests, and creative workshops. Everything is conducted in English and helps children reinforce their communication skills in an informal environment. Leisure activities are organized so that a child is busy all day long, switching from lessons to physical activity, communication, and entertainment — this reduces stress and helps them adapt faster to the new environment.

• Full immersion in the language. English is heard not only in lessons, but also at events, excursions, and in everyday life — communication from morning to evening takes place in English, without switching to native language.
• Small groups and individual approach. Classes are held in small groups (an average of 10 people), teachers live on campus with students and accompany them at all stages of the day.
• Safety and control: closed-type campus, staff on site around the clock, all movements are recorded, access by electronic passes.
• International environment. In groups — children from different countries, and the number of students from one country is deliberately limited to avoid the effect of a "language bubble".
• Balanced program. Educational classes, creative and sports activities, excursions and evening events are structured into a single daily structure — the child is constantly busy and easily switches between different formats of communication in English.
• Feedback: at the end of the course, students receive a personalized certificate with individual comments from the teacher and head.

The camp is held at the school building in the very center of Newbury, in a quiet green area within walking distance of the train station and city attractions. The building is a real Victorian mansion with a modern extension that houses classrooms, a library, a common space for events, and a residence. There is an inner courtyard on the territory, as well as places to relax and work outdoors.

The study rooms are equipped with everything necessary for classes: interactive whiteboards, fast Wi‑Fi, group and individual work areas. Access to the building is possible using electronic cards, video surveillance is in place.

It takes about an hour by train to London, nearby are Oxford, Windsor Castle, Highclere (the very Downton Abbey estate, famous far beyond the UK thanks to the popular series!), so the camp has a wide choice of destinations for excursions and trips.

The program is held during vacation periods — in spring, summer and autumn.

In addition to the basic cost of the course, fees may be charged for transfers from other airports (if arrival is not at Heathrow or Gatwick), visa processing, travel insurance, and pocket money. Training materials, accommodation, meals, excursions and most activities are already included in the price. The program does not provide for examination sessions — the course ends with a certificate of participation with comments from the teacher.

Admission starts with choosing a course, then you need to fill out an application form with the student's personal data and contact information of parents or guardians. At the next stage, it is required to provide information about health, diets, possible allergies and special care needs, sign consent to the rules of conduct and terms of stay. After that, the booking is confirmed, and instructions for preparing for the trip and arrival details are sent to the parents.

Payment is made in two installments before the start of training.

The camp is intended for children and teenagers aged 8 to 17. When booking, you must indicate age, medical information, dietary requirements, and confirm your agreement with the rules of conduct.

On the first day of training, a language test is conducted — based on its results, students are assigned to groups according to their English level. Knowledge of the language "at the entrance" is not required: the school accepts students with any level of preparation, including beginners. However, it is important that the child is ready for an intensive format and living without parents.

In case of a serious violation of the rules (for example, smoking, alcohol consumption, insubordination to staff), the student may be expelled early and sent home at the expense of their parents.
