The Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (NABA), or the Academy of Fine Arts is the largest design high school in Italy. The university was founded by a group of famous artists and designers in 1980, and in the 90s the university entered the European league ELIA - these are the leading universities associated with the humanities.

NABA was the first private academy to receive accreditation from the Italian Ministry of Education. Highly qualified teachers with professional experience in the fashion, design and architecture industries work with university students. The ratio of students and teachers is 1: 3. Training takes place in English or Italian.

Since its inception, the prestigious art school NABA has earned many awards:

  • In 1995, the institution received the honorary award Civic Merit Award, which is awarded to higher schools with achievements in the field of visual arts in Europe
  • In 2017, according to Domus Magazine, the university entered the top hundred European institutions for architecture, design and fashion.
  • In 2015, according to Frame Publisher, the university was ranked among the world's best fashion and design schools.
  • NABA is part of the prestigious association of educational institutions Laureate International Universities .

This is not the whole list of the university's merits: the higher school cooperates with more than 1000 major brands, such as Valentino Fashion Group, Giorgio Armani, Trussardi, where students annually do an internship. Thanks to such cooperation, 89% of NABA graduates find work in their field within six months after graduation.

The university cares about its students very much, so the university career center helps young people with internship and employment issues. Both current students and graduates can apply here for help even a few years later.
