Walking through Vienna, it is impossible not to visit the modern famous building built on the eve of the third millennium: at this time parks, shopping centers, bridges and other objects named after the millennium opened all over the world. A whole skyscraper was built in the Austrian capital, which went down in history and broke many records. There are dozens of entertainment, shopping and other companies are located that will brighten up the leisure of tourists and offer a lot of exciting services.
History and features of the skyscraper
The tower construction project was developed in 1997: many experts predicted pessimistic forecasts related to the impossibility of a quick payback of the project. In 1999, the construction of the tower was completed, and expert forecasts failed. All the premises of the building were dismantled for rent almost immediately, despite the enormous cost per square meter.
The skyscraper is built in the form of two connected cylinders, forming an infinity sign at the base, on the outside all floors are finished with glass. The following records are associated with Millennium Tower:

Even higher are the offices of the world's largest companies. On the upper floors you can rent a room in a three-star hotel, also called Millennium.
You can spend in the Millennium Tower all day: after shopping, and after having lunch and relaxing, getting a charge of positive emotions. Surprisingly, the skyscraper does not have an observation deck, but this has its plus: there are no huge crowds of tourists, and you can comfortably walk wherever you want without feeling discomfort.
Hotel Millennium
Separately, it is worth mentioning the hotel located on the upper floors: these are classic three-star rooms with modern furniture and decoration. Staying here, you can every day observe the most beautiful view from the window of a skyscraper on Vienna. The hotel offers rooms of different categories: standard double apartments cost 65 € per day, which is an affordable price for most tourists - therefore it is advisable to reserve a room here for several months.
