Middlesbrough College offers more than a hundred vocational education programs at various levels, including postgraduate studies, A/AT-level education in various fields: from the service sector to entrepreneurship, law and medicine. In 2002, it absorbed Teesside Higher College, and a year earlier it was licensed by the Skills Council of England (which meant government funding).
