The Lyceum established in 1991, when experimental classes were opened at the Institute of Asian and African Countries at Moscow State University on the basis of boarding school №14 with in-depth study of the Chinese language. During all the years of its existence, Lyceum 1535 guarantees high quality of educational services, which is confirmed by the results of All-Russian and International Olympiads, admission to budget places in the best universities, and the success of lyceum graduates.

The lyceum has a large, light, cozy dining room. Meals for students are carried out according to the schedule, corresponding to the academic load of each class. The menu is varied, it contains all the necessary calorie and vitamin content set of products for baby food.

The dining room provides a daily hot breakfast for students in grades 1-4.

• "Media Center 1535" is a unique journalistic project dealing with education, life and creativity. Created in 2017, it brings together talented and media-minded students. During their studies and work in the project, the guys master the formats of documentary films, portrait films, reportages, interviews, blitz polls, learn more about the professions of a journalist, cameraman, director, and editing director. The list of awards of "Media Center 1535" includes diplomas and Grand Prix of many All-Russian and international television festivals of youth screen creativity and journalism.
• The educational institution provides a unique opportunity to attend lectures by famous scientists, publicists, journalists, without leaving the walls of the lyceum. The school invites interesting interlocutors who are ready to share their experience and knowledge, to tell exciting stories about unusual things.
• The organization of physical education classes for students in grades 10-11 is carried out within the framework of the "Lesson-section" project. The project provides an opportunity for students in grades 10-11 to choose the form of mastering different sports.

• An effective organizational culture has developed within the educational organization for many years. Teachers are focused on working with motivated children, and the latter find great intellectual potential in teachers. Another component is the new opportunities that the city has been providing schools in recent years.
• Pupils of school №1535 study English in depth + the children choose the second language themselves (Chinese, German or French).
• The school develops technical areas, a robotics class.
• “Open School” is a project based on school №1535. It is an opportunity to gain access not only to high quality educational services, but also to social capital - teachers with high professional and expert competencies. Most of the teachers of the Open School are certified experts of the Unified State Exam, participate in the preparation of control and measurement materials, and are members of subject and appeal commissions. Studying at the Open School is a unique opportunity to receive coaching support from those who teach not only schoolchildren, but also teachers of the capital.

The building of the Lyceum on Usacheva Street, built in 1929, is one of three schools-monuments of constructivism, built in the first exemplary experimental working area, therefore the building is non-standard, very light, with large windows.

Sports facilities: 3 sports halls equipped with the necessary sports equipment. There is a fenced adjoining area for walking and exercising, as well as an outdoor sports ground for sports games.

The offices have personal computers, laptops, digital video cameras, scanners, printers, copiers, interactive whiteboards, slide projectors, stereos, multimedia projectors, tripod screens, video players.

The lyceum has 2 medical rooms - a procedure and a dental one.

The classroom capacity is about 30 people. Education at the Lyceum is conducted within a five-day academic week.

Classes are held in 1 shift, from 8:30 a.m..
