Lyceum No. 130 named after academician M. A. Lavrentiev is a secondary educational institution in Novosibirsk, in the Upper Zone of the Academgorodok (Sovetsky District). The quality of education at the Lyceum has been and remains high for over 60 years, graduates demonstrate some of the best admission results in the country: by this criterion in 2019 the educational institution was included in TOP-100 best schools in Russia. The lyceum keeps its traditions - School Day, a festival, works on the construction of a new building - buys educational equipment, continues the implementation of the School-Laboratory project. The main goal of the educational institution is to create modern conditions for the development of students, to provide them with universal classical education on the basis of advanced programs, providing graduates with the opportunity to further study at any leading national and international universities. A wide selection of additional courses is offered to those who want to develop beyond the limits of the main program.

Since 1970, School No. 130 has been located in a four-story building with an extension at ul. Scientists, 10.

  • Elderly people computer literacy project “Learning is not early! It's not too late to learn! ”, Where students of grades 9–10 are the“ teachers ”, and residents of the school’s neighbourhood are the“ students ”. The project was launched in the 2010/11 academic year.
  • The summer humanitarian school is focused on in-depth study of the subjects of the humanitarian cycle (Russian, literature, history, foreign languages), and on providing special conditions for gifted children. The main goal is the formation of a humanitarian culture of students, carrying out research activities, improving foreign, communicative, intercultural and personal competence of students.
  • The Book of Memory is a socio-educational project to create a Book of Memory "Immortal Regiment 130s".
  • The author’s newspaper “AHA” is published by the school editorial office several times a year.

  • The lyceum forms classes with specialized education, which allows to receive advanced preparation in specialized disciplines, undergo early profiling, and master the skills of independent, scientific work. Entry requirements, how to apply, what is required to enrol

Applicants submit an application addressed to the director of the lyceum no later than 10 days before the deadline for individual selection established in the information messages. Application can be submitted online.

The application form includes the following information:

  1. Surname, name, patronymic of the student
  2. Date, place of birth
  3. Surname, name, patronymic of parents (legal representatives)
  4. The pre-emptive right to enroll a student in a class with in-depth study of individual subjects or in a class of specialized education (if any) + supporting documents
  5. A copy of the academic record or certificate of basic general education, a certificate of the results of the state final certification for educational programs of basic general education
  6. Diplomas, certificates, certificates confirming educational, intellectual, creative, sports achievements (prize-winning places)
  7. If necessary, a medical report on the health status of the child is provided.

To organize the individual selection of students by order of the director of the lyceum, a commission is created. Enrollment of applicants is carried out on the basis of the protocol of the meeting of the commission according to the results of individual selection (student ranking), is issued no later than 10 days before the start of the school year.
