The Lycée Louis Querbes High School program covers grades 10-12. In the 10th grade, students go through a comprehensive curriculum with a variety of disciplines and electives, gradually choosing their future specialization. In the 11th grade, each student will have to choose one of the directions, the related disciplines of which he will study at an in-depth level:

Lycée Louis Querbes is a French school offering a secondary education completion program according to the national studying system. Lycée Louis Querbes students study in grades 10-12, preparing for the transition to bachelor's degree programs at universities. After completing the academic program of the senior classes, they, along with French students, obtain a graduation diploma and the opportunity to continue their educational path at one of the French-speaking universities.

The number of students attending classes at Lycée Louis Querbe each year is limited to 500 high school students. There are not many international students here, and the competition for admission among foreigners is quite serious — no more than five representatives of other countries are accepted each year. At the same time, Lycée Louis Querbes has an international atmosphere, students study together an extensive list of academic disciplines, actively participate in extracurricular school activities, and live in a residence. Special attention is paid to foreign students — teachers, and administrative staff comprehensively support each student, providing the best conditions for adapting to a new country and education system for them.

Educational process

Living in the residence, students follow a clear daily routine: it includes a certain time for getting up and going to bed, hours of academic classes and self-study under the guidance of teachers, free time for extracurricular activities. In total, the day at school lasts from 7:00 to 21:45.

The educational system of France consists of three stages: primary, middle and high school. The senior department, called The Lycée, includes instruction in grades 10-12.

Accommodation, meals, prices

During the school week, from Monday to Friday, students live in a comfortable residence on the school's campus. The building is divided into floors prepared for students of the same sex: one floor for boys and two floors for girls. In total, no more than 210 students live in the residential building, staying in single and double rooms with shared or individual bathrooms. Each of the residents of the residence receives a balanced three meals a day: breakfast, lunch and dinner prepared by a qualified team of chefs.

On weekends, holidays, and during seasonal vacations, students stay with host families who are happy to provide housing for foreign students. By offering excellent accommodation conditions, host families perceive the student as a family member, helping him to adapt to a new country and resolve any issues.

  • Spring — two weeks from mid-April to mid-May,
  • Summer — two months, starting around the beginning of July.

The cost of the program includes an administrative fee, accommodation in a residence and a host family, round-the-clock support and a security guarantee. Additionally, you will have to pay:

  • E-learning language courses,
  • Medical insurance,
  • Some excursions, sports and creative activities,
  • Individual language classes,
  • Round trip transfer,
  • Study guides, books, and materials,
  • Pocket expenses.

Enrolment process

Admission of new students coming from abroad is severely limited, so application deadlines should be respected. Applicants will have to fill out an online form in French and provide the required documents. Staff will get to know the candidate to check their level of French proficiency and academic readiness to study at a French-speaking school, and then successful applicants receive an invitation to enroll, can arrive on campus to begin classes.

Every year, no more than five foreign students study in the classes of Lycée Louis Querbes, the bulk of the students are French nationals.
