Luxembourg is thinking of stopping the issuance of "golden visas"

Today, in Luxembourg, the authorities are actively discussing whether it is worth leaving the opportunity to obtain a residence permit to investors in the country. The current rules allow foreign investors to obtain a "golden" residence permit for a period of 5 years by investing €500,000 or earning at least €27,000 in a year. The authorities are thinking about the expediency of "golden visas" because over the past two years, only six applications have been submitted - and four of them were rejected.
