Only those who already speak English at an intermediate or advanced level are accepted to the course.

LSI San Francisco is a language center located across the bay from San Francisco, in Berkeley. The center accepts foreign students from 16 years old.

LSI San Francisco offers international students a wide range of language courses, from basic and intensive courses to preparation for international exams such as the TOEFL.

Accommodation, meals, prices

Host families offer foreign students single or double rooms with breakfast or half board. Bed linen and towels are provided for students, and laundry can be washed at home or in local laundries. Bathrooms for foreign students in the house are separate. The journey from the host family's home to the educational campus takes about 50 minutes on average.

Accommodation in the Berkeley YMCA Residence is suitable for adult international students.
