Summer Camp

The course with the intensity of classes up to 20 hours per week is designed for 2-4 weeks. The program is aimed at those who wish to receive, to actualize the basic language knowledge.

The program provides for the study of grammar, vocabulary of English. School teachers also pay attention to the development of students' speech. If necessary, they help to correct the pronunciation. As a result of studying, Trinity Exam surrenders.

  • Admission requirements: the level of English is from elementary.
  • The result of the studying: development of language skills, understanding of English, free communication on it at everyday level.

Summer course with a scientific bias (STEM Experience)

  • Age of students: 10-13 years
  • Duration: 2 weeks

A special summer scientific, academic program that will help students to better learn their favorite subjects and directions, to acquire valuable knowledge and practical skills, to prepare for more successful studies abroad. 

STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) provides from 22 hours of classes weekly: 15 lessons in general English + 7-8 hours in the STEM program, intensive research in various areas of science are offered to foreign students. Classes are formed very small - up to 11 people in each - which gives teachers the opportunity to practice an individual, personal approach to each student.

The English course with a lot of dynamic, interactive classes integrates all the basic language competencies:

  • Grammar
  • Reading
  • Auditing (listening comprehension)
  • Vocabulary (active expansion of vocabulary)
  • Written speech
  • Oral speech (spoken English)
  • Phonetics (correct pronunciation, accent correction)
  • Improve communication skills.

The special block Language for Life will be especially useful for foreign students: it aims at active communication and literacy, improving conversational and communicative skills, studying cultural and national aspects, useful life skills and development of personal qualities. At the end of each student's study, a brand name certificate with the successes and achievements, as well as a new level of English, measured according to the CEFR scale, which is perceived as an analogue of the famous Cambridge ESOL & IELTS, is waiting for each student.

Boarding School Experience - 10-13 L

The Boarding School Experience program, developed in accordance with teaching methods in independent schools, introduces young people to the life of a British boarding school. The curriculum covers three main subjects of the British school curriculum: English and literature, mathematics, science, as well as sessions "Preparing for entrance exams", which develop skills for successfully passing mental tests, general areas of entrance exams, and participating in interviews.

English literature lessons include an in-depth analysis of the language from the point of view of its change, form an idea of what is taught in British high schools. Lessons from discussion and drama allow students to hone their presentation skills, self-expression, to better understand and apply stable English expressions.

The study of algebra, geometry, computing will develop existing skills, prepare for admission to the next stage of studying of British schools.

Students get acquainted with various subjects in the field of natural sciences, master interdisciplinary connections, for example, how the study of biology helps to better describe and understand chemistry, the action of physical forces. Students integrate their math knowledge closely related to science to study and describe what they have learned.

Preparation for admission to a boarding school will help students to successfully pass the entrance exams not only in the UK, but also in other countries. Skills acquired during the course help to prepare for exams, to practice critical thinking, and to master the practice of presentation skills.

Students take 2 full-day excursions every week, study the culture of the United Kingdom, attend the leading boarding school and other popular places in the UK: Ashford School, Whitgift School, Ardingly College, Christ's Hospital, Lancing College and others.

The English summer camp with the additional Arts Experience art workshops combines an English course, a full program of excursions with special workshops on drama, dance, and music. The workshops are held in partnership with West End On Demand, a group of experienced professional performers with stage experience who can provide unrivaled classes and classroom instruction.

Master classes in music, dance and drama are conducted by professional West End performers. Each week, students will explore a variety of topics to learn about all aspects of British performing arts. Topics for 2019 included Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, hit The Lion King, Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl.

Students will attend English classes, will take part in classes in their chosen specialty. Classes are a combination of general English, project sessions, academic English, conversation, excursions.

The course helps students to gradually develop language skills, confidence with the help of a multi-level program, and to study the performing arts. The course includes lessons specifically related to places of visit during excursions, allowing participants a holistic language learning experience.

Project sessions allow students to use English to perform real tasks, to expand vocabulary, knowledge of grammar. Groups receive assignments to work on a project, and the culmination of a weekly project is a lesson in which groups present their work.

Students leave the course with a certificate of recommended level of English on the CEFR scale.

Each week, students will attend an excursion for two full days, one half-day excursion throughout the UK, and an on-site event program.

Description of King Edward's School

King Edward's School in picturesque Whitley, 8 kilometers from the rich historic sites of Guildford, is a great place for students who prefer studying in a quiet environment away from the noisy big cities. The educational institution, founded in 1553, is known for its impeccable reputation. Foreign students will enjoy summer vacation programs, which allow to combine studying English abroad with exciting rest. 

The school accepts students from 10 - 16 years old. Every year about 100 students from different countries study here. The multinational environment of students promotes the development of not only basic linguistic, but also communicative skills. Activities King Edward's School

King Edward's School provides students with an out-of-class picnic program, film screenings, theme parties, and other recreational activities. There are 4 excursions per week. 2 are designed for the whole day, two - for half a day. Children can visit London (here you can explore the Tower, walk around the popular museums of the capital, ride a Ferris wheel, take a cruise on the Thames), Portsmouth, Oxford, Bath. Younger students also visit the amusement park Thorpe.

Daily routine
Lessons are conducted in the morning and afternoon. In the evening, students have extra-curricular activities. They can also organize their own rest on the campus.
