The program consists of two courses and is intended for future entrants. A-level guides students in choosing a specialty and prepares for the subjects necessary for admission to the higher institutions of Britain. The main thrust of the program is the integrity of the theoretical preparation and practical application of knowledge. Adolescents creatively approach the solution of questions and write analytical essays on a given topic.

CATS College Canterbury teachers orient students in choosing universities, explain the advantages of studying in them, help to prepare a package of documents (application, motivation letter, recommendations) for admission.

In six trimesters, pupils take up to 5 subjects of choice. The final control of knowledge in the college is conducted by individual modules or by the results of the course work. For the studying, selective sciences are provided:

  • The world economy;
  • Mathematics (+ highest);
  • Law;
  • Physics;
  • Latest technologies;
  • Business management;
  • Biology;
  • Sociological and psychological bases;
  • Chemistry;
  • Geography course.

16-year-old students receive education at the A-level for 5-6 semesters; an accelerated program (3 terms) is provided for older children.

In the exams, a significant part (more than 83%) of the students on the program reach the A and B grades. Best British universities (according to The Times ranking) invite CATS College Canterbury graduates to further master the university degree. In past years, more than 80% of graduates of the A-level have been sent proposals.

The international program was created for schoolchildren who dream of enrolling in a British higher educational institution. The IB program allows you to take subjects in a natural direction, a complex of humanities and to learn foreign languages. Active civic position is brought up at the charity center of CATS College Canterbury. The campaign to raise funds for the needy is included in the final evaluation of the program.

The CAS course teaches an active life position, participation in public life, and forms an initiative member of the community. Writing a scientific essay is a course that teaches you to conduct research and to find an unusual vision of standard events. The creativity of the essay presentation is also highly appreciated by the teachers.

After the completion of the University Foundation, students are invited by higher education institutions to receive professional education. Review about The Worthgate School (ex CATS College Canterbury)

Dmitry
(01.12.2021)
CATS was introduced at the Smaps exhibition in 2019. Of all the colleges, we chose Canterbury for ourselves, as there were budget constraints and I did not want to overpay for the location of an educational institution in a large city. A special thanks to the company's employees for their help in preparing for the entrance exam and organizing admission. My son successfully passed the exam and even received a small discount on training. For your curation during the year, special thanks also!

Anna Chebotar
Regional Manager CIS

Anna is the CIS Regional Manager at MPW College London. Anna is an International University of Nature, Society and Man graduate and has been working in secondary education for more than 12 years. She thinks that reputation and recommendation are important for most schools, but the problem in the rankings is a focus only on the best students. The "average" student often does not receive additional support, which he needs more than an excellent student!
