The Institute of Contemporary Theatre Manchester (ICTheatre Manchester) is an institution that provides programs and courses to develop creative skills in the field of performing arts and acting.

ICTheatre has two campuses: manchester and Brighton. The institution is in collaboration and under the leadership of one of the leading institutes of performing arts – BIMM University.

The best specialists in their field are involved in the education of students: dancers, choreographers, directors, actors and producers. The teaching staff is young, but experienced, so they are able to find an individual approach to each student and reveal his talents. Classes in small classes will give students the necessary support and attention for unique self-expression, will allow them to more effectively adopt experience and analyze the success of other students, coping with difficulties together.

Most of the presented courses are organized in the format of a permanent visit to the campus, but some of them allow you to study part-time several times a week.

Each student has the opportunity to add individual lessons to the schedule with specialized teachers, if he feels that he is experiencing difficulties. Employees and teachers of the institute provide support in the career start and help students find a suitable direction for them.

The institution does not provide accommodation on campus. The ICTheatre study area is located near the centre of Manchester, so students will be able to choose any place to stay – the city has an excellent transport network. Manchester is often inhabited by tourists, so foreign students are advised to book accommodation in advance. The Institute cooperates with some residential tenants and offers assistance in accommodation:

Manchester's creative growth rate is one of the highest in the UK, so this is where art and creative lovers will always find something to do. The city also has a lot of popular educational institutions in different regions, including music and performing.

The Manchester International Festival is one of the country's most exciting multimedia events, organised every two years. The event takes place at different venues: theaters, art galleries, concert halls and even parking lots. The festival accepts experienced performers and talents that are still unfamiliar to the public, giving everyone a chance to develop.

In their free time, students of the Institute can visit city and natural attractions, participate in events, study the culture of the country and make new acquaintances. Admission to most famous places is free, which is a strong plus for international students. In Manchester, almost all types of world cuisine are represented, the football sphere is actively flourishing, innovative technologies are seriously developed - the entire infrastructure of the city and its residents contribute to the personal and career development of students of higher educational institutions.

Thanks to the excellent transport system, students will be able to explore not only Manchester, but also get to the historic tourist cities of Chester and York. The road will take a little less than a day, but the journey is worth it: four British national parks, museums and counties, farms and gardens - a lot of impressions await both tourists and students in this district.

The ICTheatre's Manchester campus occupies a three-storey 1930s Art Deco building on Oxford Road. This street is famous for its nickname - the "student corridor", as the main routes of students of many universities and schools pass through it.

The study area includes:

• Five large studios with professional Arlechine spring beech floor, full-length wall mirrors, heating and air conditioning, musical instruments and specialized lighting,
• The 400-seat Theatre Hall is one of the largest stages in Manchester,
• Student lounges for relaxation, communication and self-study,
• Library with reading room,
• Computer lab.

The institute's infrastructure also includes the Northern Ballet School, an international center that provides programs in the field of ballet and musical theater. The institution is located near the ICTheatre campus and allows students to use classrooms at both sites, learn from full-time faculty and attend events.

The academic year of bachelors includes the following dates:

• Fall Semester: September 26-January 23,
• Winter holidays: December 12-January 9,
• Spring semester: January 30-May 22,
• Spring break: March 27-April 17.

Masters have an additional semester, lasting from May 29 to September 4. Courses of additional education are held from September 19 to June 27, including winter and spring holidays.

Most fees and expenses are included in the cost of the program, but students will have to take care of accommodation, meals, tickets for public transport and non-campus events, personal expenses.

Applicants are required to complete an application and provide the required documents, including a personal statement of ambition and skills. Next, they will be invited to audition and get acquainted with icTheatre employees. Upon successful completion of the entrance tests, students receive an official invitation to start their studies.

Requirements for foreign applicants entering the Trinity and Undergraduate programs:

• High school diploma with scorecard,
• Personal documents: passport, health insurance, visa or residence permit,
• Individual achievements in the creative sphere,
• The result of the IELTS English language test from 6.0 points,
• Personal statement of ambitions and available skills – up to 4000 characters,
• A letter of recommendation from a teacher, tutor or employer.

Graduates of the BIMM and ICTheatre institute programs receive a discount on further courses of institutions in the amount of 500 to 1000 £ (full-time study or part-time programs).

Trinity 6 Level students have the opportunity to receive dance and drama awards (DaDa) funding: this scholarship award reduces the amount of annual tuition or accommodation fees for those students who demonstrate exceptional talent and career potential.
