Spicy, fragrant and such colorful Indian cuisine does not leave anyone indifferent. Either love at first sight, or the European stomach will respond with a protest at attempts to feed it with such spicy and unusual food.

It's funny to see how tourists, making an order in an Indian cafe, convince the waiter to make a dish of "no spicy and nou masala", which in itself is nonsense: all Indian cuisine basically consists of a set of spices - masala, which is individual for each chef. On the basis of this mixture of spices, sauces are prepared, which are flavored with rice, meat, vegetables, masala is also added to drinks.

Curry

Curry is a sauce, a "seasoning" to rice. In India, the word"curry"refers to many vegetable, fish and meat dishes using sauce. Curry is prepared from a mixture of spices, onions, garlic, tomato paste and coconut milk. Meat or vegetables are cut into slices and stewed in a fragrant and bright sauce. The use of turmeric, ginger and hot pepper is a must!

Indian flatbreads

An integral part of Indian cuisine. The most common types of Indian tortillas are chapati and naan. They are prepared from wheat flour in a frying pan or in the oven. Cakes are broken off and dipped in food or used as a spoon. Also with cakes drink tea or eat them as a main dish, adding vegetables, cheese, potatoes or meat.

Paneer Butter Masala

One of the most unspicy dishes of Indian cuisine, which even children love. Paneer is a special cheese that is pre-fried in oil. Separately prepare a sauce of fatty cream, onions, tomatoes and a variety of spices. Fried cheese is added to the finished sauce and served with rice as a side dish.

Pani Puri

Balloons made of dough fried in boiling oil are a very popular fast food on Indian streets. The ball is pressed with a finger to scoop up a broth with spices or a fragrant sauce inside. Also, mrs. puri is prepared with a filling inside.

Tandoori chicken

Tandoori is a baked oven in which marinated chicken is baked in extreme heat. Marinade is prepared from yogurt and spices, chicken is used in whole or in parts. Marinade and high cooking temperature (300-400 degrees) allow you to get the finished dish in 15 minutes. The chicken becomes bright red, looks appetizing and tempting. By the way, the red color signals danger - the dish is extremely spicy, be prepared!

Samos

An incredibly popular dish of deep-fried dough. Most often, the Indian version of samosa is prepared with a vegetable filling of potatoes, lentils, onions and peas. But you can also find a meat version of the triangular envelope.

Rogan Josh

The name of the dish literally means"meat stewed in ghee over high heat". In fact, it is a meat curry of lamb. Rogan Josh is a tolerable-spicy dish, and its characteristic feature from other curry species, which are predominantly yellow, orange or green, is red. All the fault of Kashmiri pepper, which is similar in taste and color to paprika.

Butter Cheeken

Chicken fillet cooked in tandoor in creamy tomato sauce with the addition of spices. Thanks to the sauce, the dish is moderately spicy, the cream softens the influence of hot pepper. Serve a dish with rice, flatbread naan, sdabrayus cilantom.

Alu Gobi

A dish of potatoes and cauliflower will be appreciated by vegetarians. It would seem that simple vegetables acquire a spicy taste thanks to Indian spices.

Masala-chai

A distinctive feature of Indian cuisine is that each family and chef has its own unique mixture of spices - masala,which is added to all dishes. Tea is no exception.
