The world's largest private profile educational organization, IED, was founded in 1966: until now, its immediate president, Francesco Morelli, has been its president. There are no residences for students at the institute: there is a special Accommodation Department in Como with students who helps to find optimal and comfortable accommodation in the city. Several hostels and city residences are located in the immediate vicinity of the campus and have long, fruitfully cooperated with the institute, providing the best rooms to students.
In residences, in addition to cozy, fully furnished and equipped rooms (usually for 2-3 people, there are common and individual bedrooms), there are common kitchens and living rooms for rest, Internet access is provided.
