University of Bicocca, Milan is a public educational institution founded in 1998. It was originally part of the University of Milan, and today more than 33,000 people study at the University of Bicocca. The university offers undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate programs.
In 2014, the university took 21st place among European educational institutions and became the first among Italian ones in the rating of "100 best universities under the age of 50 years", organized by Times Higher Education.
The campus is located in the north of Milan in the former Pirelli industrial complex. The construction of academic buildings and dormitories was worked by architect Vittorio Gregotti. Students use equipped classrooms, libraries, sports complexes, cafeterias, shops.
