Kindergarten – EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage)
- Age: 0-5 years.
This is the very initial, initial stage of the child's development, which in the future will form his independence, activity, curiosity, critical thinking and perseverance.
Lessons are held both in the classroom and in the fresh air, all learning is conducted through play and interesting learning tasks (teachers carefully monitor all activities in order to adjust development plans if necessary, take into account the characteristics of each child).
Each young student has his own educational profile: information about progress, development, useful data (parents help with this), experience at school and at home are recorded there.
There are seven main areas of study/study:
- Communication and Language,
- Physical development,
- Personal, social and emotional development,
- Literacy
- Mathematics
- Understanding the basics of the world around us,
- Expressive art forms.
This is bilingual education: applied subjects are conducted in English, as well as lessons in music, physical education, technology and art.
Primary Classes
The basic Cambridge English course for primary grades will help you communicate confidently in English from an early age - as a native language or as a foreign language.
The mathematical program is deepening: measures of quantities, data processing, problem solving, geometry, numbers (and teachers strive to consolidate all these data with practice so that children really understand the concept and mathematical principles, relationships, systems and functions).
The course of natural science consists of biology, chemistry and physics, scientific research. A large number of studies and experiments are provided, to critically evaluate the results of scientific work.
An interesting subject for everyone and always is global perspectives (the course is designed for several years, developed by the University of Cambridge). This is the development of 4K skills: creativity, cooperation, critical thinking, communication skills + project activities.
In addition, children are engaged in music, sports and art, master digital literacy.
Middle Grades (Cambridge Program)
The general course of the middle classes is divided into two parts and is conducted using original materials approved by the University of Cambridge:
- From Year 7 to Year 9 (11-13 years) – Lower Secondary,
- From Year 10 to Year 11 (14-15 years) – Upper Secondary.
From the age of 11, the curriculum as a whole includes the same disciplines that were studied before:
- English (as a primary, native or foreign language),
- Mathematics
- Natural Sciences Course,
- Humanities
- Global Perspectives,
- Digital literacy,
- Physical education and sports,
- Music
- Art.
Students adapt to a more complex curriculum, develop independence, skills of analysis, synthesis and interpretation of information, critical thinking, leadership qualities.
Middle classes (Russian program)
At this stage, children actively develop as individuals, more clearly define their interests, talents and inclinations, form a general idea of the world, using personal knowledge and skills.
Subjects studied:
- Russian Language and Literature,
- Mathematics: algebra and geometry,
- History
- Geography
- Biology
- Social Studies (from the 6th grade),
- Physics (from the 7th grade),
- Chemistry (from the 8th grade).
At the end of the course, students pass the OGE (state final certification) in the Russian language, mathematics and two subjects of their choice.
High school (Russian program)
Education of the Russian standard for high school students is an in-depth, thorough training, which is already becoming specialized, aimed as much as possible at those subjects that are a priority for each student. As a rule, these are sciences related to the desired direction at the university, correspond to the entrance university requirements and tests.
Music and art lessons, physical education training continue to be conducted in English.
At the end of the 11th grade, high school students take the exam: the Russian language and mathematics are mandatory for everyone, two subjects for the exam are chosen by the student individually. Passing the exam leads to a certificate.
High School (IGCSE)
From the 10th grade, students can choose their own subjects for their personal curriculum. Mathematics, natural sciences and English remain in it - they are mandatory for everyone, divided into several levels of complexity. The exam minimum is 5 subjects, the maximum is 6-7. More than 70 destinations are available to choose from, including a variety of foreign languages. Each subject is studied for two full years.
At this stage, students work a lot on their own, conduct project work, learn to write essays, and regularly perform creative tasks and research.
For the last half of the year, mock exams are scheduled to check the readiness of schoolchildren, for the final course - final exams.
A-level (Cambridge Advanced)
A program for high school students (Year 12 and Year 13 (16-19 years old)) who intend to obtain a valuable, internationally recognized diploma (Advanced International Certificate of Education - AICE) in order to enter a prestigious university - and are ready to work hard for this.
Basics of the A-level program:
- deep understanding of the chosen subject,
- independent thinking,
- application of knowledge and skills in new and familiar situations,
- logical thinking and coherent argumentation,
- assessment of the situation and decision-making,
- work and fluent communication in English.
