Glion Institute of Higher Education London (often simply Glion) is a private hotel management school offering bachelor's and master's degrees in London.

The Institute was founded in 1962, located in Montreux, Switzerland. After decades of improvement, development and international excellence, the institution opened a second campus, but this time in a different country: in 2013, the educational territory in London, England began to accept students.

Many factors make Glion a special institution, such as its approach to studying young professionals. Glion students who choose to study on the London campus are provided with accommodation on the school grounds, in the Chadwick Building. The living rooms are organized as a House, which can accommodate from 8 to 12 students. All the bedrooms are located on the upper floors, there are three or four rooms on each floor, and the kitchen, shower and toilet are on the ground floor. All bedrooms are designed for single occupancy, the average room size is 10-12 sq. m.: bed, storage area, workplace.

There are several places on campus where you can have a snack and relax between classes.:

The institute accepts students who demonstrate an interest in the hospitality industry, leadership potential, personal enthusiasm, creativity and an international mindset. In recent years, about 1,600 new students have been enrolled in bachelor's programs, and about 800 in master's programs.  The total number of candidates who started training in 2022 is 2257 people.

According to the statistics of recent years, about 98% of graduates of the institute were successfully employed within a few months after graduation.

To date, Glion has 16,300 alumni who have built careers in 164 countries. On average, it takes only about three years for graduates to reach a leadership position.

The requirements for the university entrants depend on the chosen program:

1) Undergraduate:

• Age from 17-18 years old;
• Certificate / certificate of secondary (school) education in 12-13 classes;
• A good level of English: IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL iBT 72.

2) Postgraduate programs - PhD:

• Age from 21 years;
• Diploma and Bachelor's Degree;
• Certificate of English Language Level: IELTS 5.0 or TOEFL iBT 61;
• Desirable work from 2 years or more.

3) Master :

• Diploma and Bachelor's Degree (specialty - "Hospitality" Or close to it);
• High level of English: IELTS 6.0, TOEFL iBT 83 or equivalent.

4) Summer academic program:

• Age from 15 years old;
• Motivation letter + sponsorship letter for the student;
• Certificate of sufficient knowledge of the English language: IELTS 4.5, TOEFL iBT 50 or equivalent.

5) English language courses:

• Age from 18 years;
• English intermediate level: IELTS 4.5, TOEFL iBT 42 or equivalent.

Glion strives to support motivated students in reaching their potential. As a private institution, the institute provides students with a limited number of scholarships and forms of financial assistance. Students may also be eligible for loans offered in their home country.

Scholarship programs are:

• Partnership Scholarships for Bachelor's Degree graduates with outstanding achievements,
• Graduate scholarships of 10% of the tuition fee are for children and other relatives of students who have already completed their studies at Glion,
• Family scholarships are for those cases when two or more children from the same family are already studying at Glion.
