A month ago, I went to FIU as part of a study visit from our school in Florida. The first thing I liked was the campus. It is very well-groomed, there is a lot of space for walking, you can practice in the fresh air. The visit itself was very well organized, the staff was friendly, we were shown almost all the buildings of the university. The university has good equipment, some equipment, of course, is not the most modern, and a little additional funding would not hurt. However, in general, I had a good impression of the university. I will consider it as one of the options for admission.

The lectures are great! I'm in an undergraduate course in political science, and most of my classes are in-depth discussions about topics that we go through in lectures. Professors strive to ensure that students improve their level of critical thinking. We are given very interesting recommendations on literature: the books they recommend sometimes contain completely different positions on the same topic, which greatly broadens the horizons.

We learned about this university from friends who live in Florida. Since I studied at an ordinary Russian school, my family and I were looking for a university where there would be preparatory programs and additional support for foreign students. FIU turned out to be very good in this regard. In general, the university provides a good level of support for foreigners, it is very comfortable to be here. Teachers and students are sociable and friendly, just meet new people and make friends. A great library where you can safely prepare if you don't want to sit in your room. I am satisfied with the choice of university.
