Young Learners: Summer Camp

French Courses

Students have access to two formats for learning French at EP Paris: standard and semi-intensive. Both options have a single curriculum, which consists in mastering the basic skills in: reading, speaking, writing, listening.

The differences between the formats are as follows:

  • Standard: 20 morning lessons weekly, classes are held from 9:00 to 12:15,
  • Semi-intensive: 25 morning classes each week, which take place from 9:00 to 13:30.

The standard course is suitable for all students, and the semi-intensive course is designed for students with clear goals, already existing knowledge of the French language. The course duration depends on the student and their academic goals.

The curriculum is complemented by free sessions, engaging extracurricular activities, and regular conversation practice both on and off campus.

The English for Academic Purposes (EAP) course offers students the opportunity to improve both language and academic skills. By enrolling in this course, students will be able to improve their level of English, which will give them an advantage over other candidates when applying to colleges and universities.

The comprehensive curriculum is specifically designed to help students improve general and academic language skills, including oral communication, essay writing, group assignments, academic research, and presentation skills. These skills are important for students preparing for higher education and academic study.

The course lasts for 10 weeks. The weekly academic load is 40 lessons in small groups of up to 15 people, allowing each student to receive individual attention from the teacher while regularly practicing speaking with classmates.

Pathway Programs: Pre-Masters

The Pre-Master's course is designed to prepare for admission to graduate school and aims to help students improve their language, academic skills over a period of 30 weeks. During studies, students develop reading and writing skills, communication abilities, research methods, and effective presentation and teaching techniques to meet the graduate school admission requirements.

The curriculum includes 40 weekly sessions; It is designed by a team of qualified and experienced teachers specifically for international students, so it allows you to bridge the gap between the bachelor's degree and the strict requirements of the master's degree thanks to a favorable learning environment, a balanced and busy schedule, and a focus on the previous education of other countries.

The goal of the English language program is to prepare the student for the challenges of graduate school. Upon completing studies, each of the students will obtain such skills as:

Pathway Programs: International Foundation Year

The International Foundation Year (IFY) is a support program for international students who would like to enroll in an undergraduate program at an English-speaking institution.

Students will attend 27 weekly classes where they will develop language skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening. Lessons are held in small groups, so that each student receives individual attention and can practice communication skills in English with classmates. By expanding the vocabulary, students feel more at ease in using the language in everyday life.

The second main component of the course is academic preparation corresponding to the subject area of the bachelor's degree that the student would like to enroll in. Specialized subjects are taught by qualified specialists entirely in English, allowing you to focus on both language and subject tpreparation.

Upon completion of the IFY, students will automatically transition to degree applicant status at EP Paris partner institutions.

The English Path network of academic schools has developed an extensive list of online and face-to-face courses for everyone, regardless of their age, country of origin, level of linguistics. More than nine courses are taught on campus in Paris, providing students with intensive language preparation in English or French. Excellent conditions have been created for this: from comfortable compact classrooms to software.

Students can choose the most suitable accommodation option: in residence or with a host family.

Accommodation in a host family is a great option for students who would like to immerse themselves in the culture, language and customs of the locals. Host families are regularly checked to provide the best accommodation for students, which include:

  • Separate bedrooms and access to common areas in the house: kitchen, living room, bathroom and others,
  • Two meals a day/Full board: breakfasts and dinners every day, packed lunches on request. Lunches are provided on weekends, and on weekdays, the student buys meals in the school cafeteria on his own,
  • Bed linen, towels, laundry services and other amenities are included in the price.
