The summer program at Dulwich College — is a new format of academic camp for teenagers aged 12–14, focused not on school subjects, but on conscious professional self-determination. Unlike typical language courses, here the child does not memorize lectures, but gains experience: works on tasks from real areas, learns to make decisions in a team, speak publicly and understand their strengths.

The program offers an environment where a teenager can explore interests without fear of making mistakes. It is a balanced and well-thought-out course: training takes place at an elite British school, classes are taught by experienced specialists, every day is filled with lively communication, games, excursions and the discovery of new horizons.

Over two weeks, participants work on simulations, case studies and projects related to various professional fields — from medicine and engineering to business and technology. Each week includes about 25 hours of classes divided into thematic blocks and team assignments.

The teaching is conducted by specialists cooperating with InvestIN — a British organization specializing in career courses for teenagers. An important part of the training — development of presentation skills, critical thinking and confident communication: children not only learn new things, but also learn to clearly formulate thoughts and work in a team.

Participants of the summer camp stay in Dulwich College residences, on the grounds of a historic campus with 24/7 security and supervision. Accommodation options include both standard rooms and en-suite rooms (available upon request). All residences are equipped with essential amenities, including laundry facilities, common areas, and Wi-Fi.

Meals are provided in the school cafeteria: breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served daily, taking into account individual dietary preferences. Residential groups are formed by age and gender to ensure children feel comfortable adapting and socializing. Camp counselors and staff live with students, providing constant support and safety throughout the shift.

After classes, the students immerse themselves in a rich and diverse extracurricular program: every evening they enjoy sports games, creative workshops, intellectual quizzes, movie nights, talent shows, karaoke, and themed parties. Everything is organized to ensure participants relax, socialize, and gain new experiences in an informal setting.

Two major excursions are planned for each session: one — to the center of London with visits to museums and attractions, the second — to University College London, where students try their hand at being students and learn how to write a resume. This helps not only have fun but also develop confidence, flexibility, and communication skills.

Dulwich College campus is a spacious green area in South London, in an affluent residential area with developed infrastructure. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the city center by public transport, which is convenient for off-site classes and excursions. At the disposal of students are modern classrooms, laboratories, sports grounds, assembly halls and lecture halls. In summer, the school buildings and premises are fully adapted to the needs of the camp: classrooms are equipped with projectors and interactive panels, and leisure spaces - with board games, relaxation areas and club rooms.

Residences, a dining room, a medical center and administrative centers are open on the territory. The cozy and safe landscape of the campus creates an atmosphere close to that of a closed university town, where everything you need is within walking distance.

The program takes place in a two-week session format. Classes and extracurricular activities are held daily, without days off or vacations. Upon completion of the course, participants receive an academic report, a certificate, and a personal recommendation letter from their tutor.

The cost includes accommodation, three meals a day, tuition, study materials, excursions, leisure program, laundry service, insurance, and a SIM card. Some services are paid separately: for example, airport transfer (depending on the airport and travel format — group or individual), accommodation in a room with a private bathroom.

First, parents need to submit an online application, selecting the course, dates, child's information, and accommodation preferences. Then, a coordinator from the admissions team will contact them to clarify details, including their English level, medical conditions, and logistics. Only after that is a deposit made and the contract signed.

After payment confirmation, the family receives an email with official enrollment confirmation and preparation instructions. 2-3 weeks before the start of the shift, the summer camp sends a final email with arrival details, curator contacts, and all necessary information.

To enroll in the Career Discovery program at Dulwich College, participants must be between 12 and 14 years old at the start of the course. A basic level of English is required – no lower than B1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference: the child should understand instructions, participate in discussions, and work in a group without constant language support. No special academic preparation is required; the course is open to teenagers with different levels of school knowledge, and the main focus is on interest in new topics, willingness to interact, and involvement in the process.
