Depaul University is a non-profit private American university. The institution has been active since the distant 1898. The main university building is located on the territory of the city campus in Chicago.

Education at Depaul University is conducted in trimesters:

• Autumn: September-December,
• Winter: January-March,
• Spring: March-June.

Three examination sessions are held from June to August. Throughout the year, classes are held on weekdays, holidays are held on weekends, on national and international holidays, and during vacations.

The Admissions Committee waits for the completed application, the application fee paid, and the required documents, after which it invites candidates for an interview. Based on the results of acquaintance and based on academic data, employees send out official letters of enrollment.

Both local residents and visitors from different countries of the whole world can apply for education here. At the same time, in order to get a higher education in this American institution, each applicant must, within a clearly defined period of time, provide the university with information about itself, including with regard to its academic performance and exam results. Approximately half of applicants cope with the receipt quite successfully. However, it is important to remember here: the percentage of enrolled students may vary at different faculties. It depends on the number of applicants and the possibilities of a particular area of study in terms of the number of students per course. The academic year here is divided into quarters, like ordinary Russian schools.

Tuition at Depaul University

Undergraduate programs are not cheap. Each course here will cost 10 thousand dollars for the half year. The same situation is observed when obtaining a master's degree - 10 thousand US dollars for each semester. Nevertheless, students often claim financial support from the university itself.

Every year, the university's scholarship fund allocates about $300,000,000  for financial support of students: students can receive a scholarship based on their merits in study, sports or creativity, as well as apply for special financial aid based on benefits.
