College of Animal Welfare (CAW) — a specialized institution offering courses and bachelor of science programs in veterinary nursing.

The college has been operating since 1989, providing local and international students with high-quality specialized education in the fields of animal care, their treatment and protection. Today, CAW has five main centers in Cambridgeshire, North London, Leeds, Wigan and Edinburgh, branches throughout the UK, and offers a fully distance learning curriculum.

The academic year covers almost the entire calendar — semester dates and the number of study days depend on the chosen course. Classes do not take place during established breaks, most often timed to coincide with national and international holidays.

The amount and areas of additional expenses depend on the program and chosen form of study: full-time or distance learning. All students need to pay registration and administrative fees, personal study materials, uniform, special academic support, and personal expenses.

The admissions committee expects a completed registration form, documents, and paid tuition fee before conducting an interview and announcing the admission results.

Thanks to the focus of the educational process on practical training, students acquire competitive professional knowledge and skills and become sought-after specialists, finding employment in local and foreign organizations.

All applicants applying from abroad must have a passport, student visa and health insurance, and provide academic certificates from previous places of study: a certificate of complete secondary education and additional qualifications if available.

Training at CAW is conducted in English, so candidates must have a sufficient level of proficiency.
