International Baccalaureate is a program created more than half a century ago in Switzerland, which consists of a universal school course with a curriculum that has made it possible to equate the education received by students in other countries with the national one. Today, IB Diploma (an equivalent of the certificate of secondary education) is recognized by all the leading universities in the world.
The program has a number of features, one of which is the development of students' social adaptation skills regardless of the chosen specialization. The emphasis is on independent work. Program features
Swiss Matura is divided into 5 types. Each represents a certain specialization (humanities, economics, linguistics, etc.). The students select the type of Swiss Matura in grade 7. After the preparation for the examination for the certificate is begun. In the process of learning the program (type does not matter), schoolchildren master 13 to 15 compulsory subjects, 3 foreign languages.
