To maximize the involvement of students, teachers prefer to use an interactive or game approach. Lessons are held from 9 to 12 hours, then a lunch break. After that the students of the school have the opportunity to go skiing or snowboarding, to devote time to creative circles or just to take a walk. Also an integral part of language education are excursions, including a small expedition to the mountains, which helps students to develop their independence.

The winter educational program "French + Sports and Recreation" offers students 20 academic hours each week. The students of La Garenne are divided into small groups of 5-10 students. This distribution helps the teacher to interact individually with each student. In addition, school teachers prefer games and various interactive activities that will be of interest to schoolchildren and adolescents.
At the lessons, the children study and practice all aspects of the language: grammar, writing, speaking - the latter is given special attention. The daily routine is approximately the same: from 9 to 12 - classes in French, from 12:15 - lunch break, after 13 hours - time for sports and creativity. In order for the educational process to be as productive as possible for each of the students, the academic groups are formed by no more than 10 people.
After lunch, during their free time, the children can already devote time to rest and fun - they attend excursions provided by the program, or are engaged in sports or creative sections.
French + sports and leisure (summer camp)

On the summer program "French + sport and leisure" students of the school La Garenne learn the appropriate language - every day for 3-4 hours a day. Lessons are held in small academic groups up to 10 people, so that foreign students quickly get used to the new environment and feel comfortable. In addition, in such a group the teacher can devote the maximum amount of attention to each student.
So, the French lessons for children begin at 9:00, then at 12:00 break for lunch, after which time comes for sports or creativity. La Garenne International Bilingual School Summer is an international private school located in the famous Alpine resort. For 70 years, La Garenne School has been gathering children and teenagers from more than 25 countries on its campus. In addition to the one-year academic program, this prestigious educational institution offers its students courses in English and French. The educational programs are designed taking into account the seasons — winter and summer. Winter studying in Montreux runs from January to March, and an English and French language camp is open during the summer holidays. An extensive extracurricular program is being developed for shift participants to help them appreciate the nature of Switzerland and, of course, one of the world's best resorts, Villars-sur-Hollon! Summer camp visits are available both during the day (without accommodation) and in boarding form.
The seasonal camp combines morning classes in English or French with outdoor activities, sports activities, creative workshops and excursions.
