CISS Toronto is a summer educational course for teenagers from 12 to 16 years old who want to improve their English language proficiency and develop leadership skills. The camp is held in one of the best cities in Canada for youth and students - Toronto, on the territory of St. Hilda's College, which is part of the campus of Trinity College of the University of Toronto.

The CISS Toronto Summer Education Camp is located on the campus of Trinity College, University of Toronto. Students are accommodated in the residence of St. Hilda's College, located in the heart of the campus: this accommodation option allows teenagers to feel the atmosphere of university life and take advantage of all the amenities.

Both single and double rooms are available to choose from, equipped with the necessary furniture and equipment (bed linen is provided, but bath amenities must be brought with you). Bathrooms are shared, on each floor. The residences have comfortable lounge areas for socializing and independent work, a cooking area with a microwave and reverse vending machines. Free high-speed, wireless Internet is available throughout the campus.

All students of the summer camp are offered three meals a day on a full board basis. The menu is designed to meet the diverse preferences of students, offering balanced hot meals, fresh fruits and vegetables. Individual options are possible (vegetarian food, halal, etc.), however, they must be agreed at the stage of applying and booking a place.

Security is 100% ensured: the territory is guarded around the clock, access to the residence is controlled, and a video surveillance system is in place. Medical care is provided if necessary.

The residence is located in the central part of the city, allowing students to fully enjoy the life of the metropolis: within walking distance are the Royal Ontario Museum, CN Tower and the famous Harbourfront promenade, numerous parks, shops and cafes.

Camp CISS Toronto offers a rich cultural and entertainment program, making learning interesting and unforgettable. Students will have excursions to the key attractions of Toronto and its environs, all kinds of sports and intellectual activities. Every week, students go on a trip that allows them to get acquainted with Canada, its history and natural beauty. Among the most frequently visited attractions are:

• One of the most impressive natural attractions in North America is Niagara Falls, where students can take a ride on the Hornblower boat to see the falls up close, explore the tourist street Clifton Hill to buy souvenirs or pay tribute to the exposition of local museums, visit observation decks with panoramic views.
• The iconic CN Tower in downtown Toronto, offering breathtaking views of the city and Lake Ontario.
• One of the largest museums in Canada, the Royal Ontario Museum, whose collections include tens of thousands of exhibits on history, art, and natural sciences (in addition, the museum owns the world's largest gallery of Canadian art).
• Canada's Wonderland, the largest amusement park in Canada, features over 200 rides, including 16 roller coasters, a huge water park, and dozens of activities to suit all tastes.
• One of the largest museums of modern art in North America, the Art Gallery of Ontario, which exhibits paintings by famous world masters, examples of modern Canadian and Indian art.
• The historic Distillery District with cozy streets and buildings of the XIX century: art galleries and craft shops, tasting Canadian delicacies in local cafes, seasonal festivals and much more.

After classes, camp students can take part in a variety of activities organized on or off campus:

• Parties and themed events, such as the Welcome Party (a traditional acquaintance party in the first days of the camp), theme nights, movie nights in English and French, in the popular Canadian and North American entertainment –  Talent Shows,
• Sports and team games (regular football, basketball and volleyball tournaments are held),
• You can do yoga and fitness, take part in quests.

• Location in downtown Toronto. The camp campus is located in the heart of the city, within walking distance of key attractions, locations where cultural and entertainment events are held.
• Accommodation on a historic campus. Students are accommodated in the residence of St. Hilda's College. Both traditional architectural elements and the atmosphere of a classic British colonial college have been preserved here, all together giving an authentic and unique experience.
• Variety of programs. The camp offers not only general English courses, but also specialized programs, such as Global Leadership, aimed at developing leadership and intercultural communication skills.
• A rich cultural program. Students have the opportunity to visit famous places such as the CN Tower, the Royal Ontario Museum and Niagara Falls (an hour and a half away by car or bus), numerous museums and exhibitions, theaters and other cultural events, which contributes to the expansion of horizons and cultural enrichment.
• The international community. The camp annually welcomes students from several dozen countries, it has long developed a unique multicultural environment, contributing to the exchange of experience and cultural traditions.
• Unique program "Global Leadership". Unlike regular language camps, CISS Toronto offers the Global Leadership course, among others, designed to help teenagers develop leadership, teamwork and public speaking skills. This is excellent preparation for future politicians, business captains or civil society leaders.
• Access to the university library and student lounge areas. The camp provides students with the opportunity to use the library and lounge areas of Trinity College, where they can read books, prepare projects and relax in the most comfortable conditions, and at the same time properly explore this magnificent university and its capabilities, which can be a significant help for admission in the future.

The campus combines the classic atmosphere of a Victorian college, modern study spaces and convenient infrastructure. Students are waiting for:

The campus is conveniently located: Pearson International Airport is only 30 minutes away by taxi or public transport, there is a metro station nearby, which allows you to move around the city without too many problems, several convenient bus and tram routes pass by the college, connecting the city with key attractions.

The CISS Toronto Summer Camp at the University of Toronto's Trinity College campus will be open in the summer, with a choice of sessions ranging from 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the chosen program and the date of arrival.

The course price includes:

• Accommodation in a residence on the campus of Trinity College with three meals a day - full board;
• Extracurricular activities (including weekly field trips).

Additional fees may involve:

• Extra night's accommodation,
• Additional transfer,
• Late arrival and/or early departure,
• Unaccompanied Minor Service (UM),
• Services of professional guardians.

In addition, students and their representatives may incur expenses related to:

• Air flight to Toronto and back;
• Payment of a visa fee –  a payment to consular offices as a condition for obtaining a Canadian visa;
• Purchase of medical and travel insurance for the period of stay in Canada;
• Purchase of tickets for certain events and locations;
• Additional excursions.

In addition, teens camping may need money for personal expenses, buying souvenirs, paying for additional activities, and other purposes.

After reviewing the application and the submitted package of documents, the camp representatives will send the student an official letter of enrollment.

To be enrolled in the CISS Toronto Summer Camp, teens must meet certain requirements and provide the appropriate documents:

• By age: from 12 to 16 years old.
• By the level of English proficiency.

To apply, you will need:

• A copy of the foreign passport (with a validity period not less than the period of the student's stay in the country),
• Birth certificate or civil passport,
• A certificate from the place of study confirming the status of a student,
• Bank statement,
• Notarized parental consent for the child's departure (mandatory for minor students).
