The Center for Premier International Languages Studies (CPILS) is the first, fastest-growing ESL/EFL language center in Cebu, Philippines. Since 2001, CPILS has been offering a wide range of intensive English language courses for non-native English students abroad. The center provides its pupils with accommodation, accompaniment and support on any issue, modern equipment on campus and a program of leisure activities.

The main goal of the country's first language center is to provide students with the opportunity to improve their language skills, to give them a chance to become globally competitive both in continuing their academic path and in building a career. CPILS uses robust rapid placement tests to accurately assign students to grades and provide them with a tailored curriculum. A comprehensive placement test and progress tests based on the Cambridge ESOL exams guarantee student success. At the same time, all students with levels A1-A2 study in smaller groups: from 2 to 4 people, and those who have a significant foundation of knowledge of the English language - in groups of up to 8 people.

CPILS is located in Cebu, Philippines, and has state-of-the-art facilities, outdoor recreational areas, and easy access to local entertainment centers, attractions. The CPILS Residence accommodates students in single, double, triple and quadruple rooms. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, showers and toilets, each resident is equipped with a bed, a wardrobe, and a workplace. If necessary, there are family rooms in the residential building, which are usually occupied by students who come to study with their relatives.

The location of the residence allows students to quickly reach the academic buildings, the dining hall, the library, sports halls, and other facilities.

CPILS offers its pupils a wide variety of leisure activities that will help them immerse themselves in the culture and customs of the locals, explore the sights and learn a lot about life in the Philippines. Of course, events also have a positive impact on academic progress — each event is associated with the education of speaking skills, whether it is a campus themed camp, an excursion or a shopping trip.

Local and international holidays are always celebrated on the territory of CPILS: Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's Day and others. Each event is accompanied by music and dance, communication between students and trips to local cafes and restaurants. In everyday life, students can also expect a variety of activities: sports, creativity, group games, walks and trips to the beach. The proximity of the resort areas allows students to try their hand at water sports, relax and bask in the sun, because in the Philippines in summer the temperature reaches +32C.

Near the school there are historical attractions, to which the road will not be difficult due to the developed transport system of the city. Students will be able to see:

• Fort San Pedro was built in 1738 to protect the island. In the courtyard of the fort there is an open plaza, where events are often held,
• The Cross of Magellan is the baptismal site of the first Filipinos. The cross was erected by a famous navigator and, according to the inhabitants, has supernatural powers,
• The oldest religious relic in the country is located in the Church of San Agustín, was given by Magellan to the queen in 1521.
• The San Carlos University Museum, the country's senior university, invites visitors to study archaeological artifacts, religious relics of the Philippines,
• The Taoist Temple is a place from which you can see the entire city and the Mactan Island. Near the temple there are houses of wealthy residents, a dense picturesque forest.

Cebu is the second largest city in the Philippines, with a population of about 700,000 . It is about 500 km from Manila, half an hour's drive from the international airport. The resort areas are also located close enough that students have the opportunity to enjoy their vacation during breaks: beaches, saunas, swimming pools, restaurants and cafes are open until late in the evening. Locals speak several languages: English, Tagalog, and Quebuano, a local dialect in the Visayas and Mindanao regions.

CPILS's convenient location allows students quick access to shopping malls, post offices, banks, and entertainment venues. Students of the center spend a lot of time in the nearby SM City and Ayala Center shopping centers, which have fast food restaurants, a cinema, and shops. The closest of the city's attractions is the Sugbo Museum, located just a two-minute walk from campus.

Each course has its own start dates, flexible duration, which adjusts to the needs of students. Most programs are available to start once a week. Classes are attended on weekdays in the morning and afternoon, after which entertainment and off-site events are organized. Students rest on weekends, days of international and national holidays.

Admission Procedure for New Students:

• Filling out the registration form, paying the entrance fee,
• Receipt of an invoice for full payment of the program within 2-3 business days,
• Payment of the full program fee within three weeks before departure,
• Arrival: Meet an employee at the airport, arrive at the campus, pass the entrance test, assign to classes and start education.

Admission of new students is limited on the basis of small class capacity, so staff advise planning ahead.

The wide range of courses offered at CPILS will provide students with progress in learning English, which will give them the opportunity to enter leading English-speaking universities and colleges, start a career and speak English fluently with native speakers.

For admission, foreign citizens must provide personal documents: a passport, medical insurance, a visa or a residence permit for a long stay in the Philippines. Before the start of education, each accepted student takes a language test to determine the level of knowledge, so it is not necessary to take a test in advance.
