Universities with Chemistry Programs in Spain for International Students: Examples
- University of Santiago de Compostela. The Department of Chemistry was established at the university in 1922, and is now a center of national and international prestige in teaching and research. At the moment, chemistry is taught here and through double degrees: in chemistry and biology, in physics and chemistry. The university has a wide range of programs: university master's degrees in chemical research and industrial chemistry, in organic chemistry, in theoretical chemistry and computer modeling.
- Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. The Faculty of Chemistry of the university consists of four units: Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. It is one of the largest departments on the university campus and one of the most active in research activities. Students can choose from areas of experimentation in fine chemistry, industrial chemistry, electrochemistry, and polymers.
- Institute for Advanced Research in Chemical Sciences at UAM (IAdChem). The Institute was founded in 2016 as an interdisciplinary unit, currently bringing together more than 70 researchers from 7 faculties. IAdChem aims to create the best conditions to develop solutions to fundamental scientific problems and social challenges for which chemistry will be essential, offering new perspectives. Research conducted at IAdChem has gained a worldwide reputation in the following areas: catalytic methods for organic synthesis, functional molecular systems and nanomaterials, process and materials modeling, nanomaterials and sensors.
- Universitat Politecnica de Valencia. Each program at the university - from undergraduate to doctoral - provides students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in their chosen field. Students can find one that matches their individual goals and interests. In addition to academic programs, the university provides a variety of extracurricular activities and research opportunities to help students develop professionally and personally.
