Accommodation, housing and food

Sicomoro and Secoya are first-year settlements located on the south side of campus. The dorms are close to the Pointe Dining Commons Center, the library, and the Bronco Student Center.  In each living room there are two or three students, common are bathrooms, toilets on the floor.

Events California Polytechnic State University – Cal Poly Pomona

CPP is one of the best LGBT-friendly campuses offering gender-neutral housing, student club space, and themed events.

The university produces a student newspaper and a quarterly television broadcast of the Bronco Sport Show. PolyCentric is the official online magazine of the university, publishing news, announcements of events on campus.

The sports department includes a group of Bronco Pep Bandstudents who specialize in sports events at the university and outsideits territory. Sports teams of the university compete in the Athletic Association California Collegiate in NCAA Division II in 10 sports. Broncos are currently the most successful program in the CCAA, having passed 60 CCAA National Championships and 14 NCAA National Championships.

"Greek Life" at the university consists of 16 fraternities, 11 women's clubs, managed by the Hellenic Council. Of the total number of students, about 2 per cent are men and 1 per cent women are members of these associations.

The university, along with the San Luis Obispo campus, participates in the Tournament of Roses parade, a joint program of homemade floating structures.

Scientific conferences, volunteer social works, creative master classes, events for calendar holidays are also regularly held.
