Three capitals

Brief information. English course with an intensity of study of 26 hours / week. The program provides accommodation and training in the three capitals of Britain: London, Edinburgh, Cardiff.

About the course. The two-week course is different from the classical academic language programs. Its zest in a vast cognitive program. English lessons are built on the principles of interactive. This allows you to concentrate as much as possible on the development of specific language skills.

The age of the students: 14 to 17.

Start dates: July 28 - August 11

Requirements for admission: the level of English is from elementary.

Description of Three Capitals

Three Capitals is one of the most famous summer tutorials. The vacation course allows you to combine intensive English courses in London with cognitive, active rest. The program "Three Capitals" annually is booked by foreign students from more than 30 countries. 

Three Capitals program is an opportunity to spend 2 weeks in London, to visit capitals of England, Wales, Scotland, to get acquainted with the culture, traditions, peculiarities of the regions of the United Kingdom. At the same time, students will study English abroad according to a program accredited by the British Consulate.

This is a short but very effective language course. Its extensive excursion program contributes to the development of students' necessary skills in understanding speech and speaking.

Accommodation, meals, prices

At all destinations along the route students are accommodated in residences or hotels. In London, students live in Goldsmith College, within walking distance of the Greenwich area. There are single rooms equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The facilities are on the floor for 1 block for 6 students.

In York, students are accommodated in Wetherby (3 *), the Days Inn Hotel (3 *), in double rooms. Facilities in the hotel are on the floor. The capital of Scotland, Edinburgh, students are invited to stay at the Heriot-Watt residence. Single rooms with bathrooms, furniture, teletechnics are available here.

In the Lake District, students stay at Ambleside, a youth hostel with rooms designed for several people. Cardiff arranges accommodation in the residence of the musical and drama college the Royal Welsh. Single rooms with private facilities are provided.

Meals in the program are organized according to the principle of full boarding.

Activities Three Capitals

In each city and area visited during the trip, students are invited to inspect most interesting sights. In London, these are famous architectural sites, museums, and much more. In York - the cathedral, the legacy of the Vikings and numerous rosaries. In Edinburgh worthy of attention Old, New city. In the Lake District there are magnificent landscapes, the mirror-like surface of Lake Windermere, where students can ride a boat. In Cardiff, students are invited to visit the ancient castles, the historical museum, go to the famous Stonehenge.

Daily routine
The lessons are inextricably linked with the excursion program.
