Brains was founded by Manuel Sánchez and María Hita more than 40 years ago. During this time, the school has grown, becoming one of the most reputable players in the international school and early childhood education market in Spain. Currently, Brains unites five schools located in the Spanish capital and on the Balearic archipelago and offering programs of various levels - from preschool to IB/Bachelor's preparatory programs, promising high-quality and modern education in both academic and sports, language and technical profiles.

1. Exchange and Language Immersion Programs

• Spanish-Canadian exchanges with accommodation with a host family and tuition in a private Canadian school (10 weeks).
• The British Olympic Games are a series of workshops, competitions and public performances on a given topic, presentations, debates, performances in the genre of improvisation. The duration of this language intensive is 2 weeks, it builds students' skills in teamwork, critical and abstract thinking and analysis, teaches how to negotiate and speak in public, develops leadership skills and teaches how to solve problems together.
• Master's in London is a twelve-day program for first-year undergraduate students, in which students have the opportunity to acquire a range of useful marketing and management skills, as well as direct practical experience of working in the office of one of the London companies, studying their working methods, business models and other secrets. During their studies, program participants live in Christ's Hospital or Royal Holloway school residences.

2. The Department of Instructional Guidance, or the Department of Guidance. Its function is to guide and support students in matters of personal and social development and academic progress, to work with families and faculty, and to look for approaches to conflict resolution. Measures to support families include a staff of tutors and consultants who provide support on various issues of academic and psychological development.
3. Special support programs are addressed to international families: we are talking about cultural and entertainment sessions, talent fairs, shared breakfasts and lunches, and other activities designed to help the families of students demonstrate their national and cultural traditions and share them with the school community.
4. Individual sessions with a speech therapist will help to diagnose and evaluate, treat various speech pathologies, which will allow you to overcome difficulties with language literacy and other problems with learning.

Brains schools have repeatedly taken high positions in international and national rankings. In 2024, the portal Economista.es recognized Brains schools as one of the best non-state school systems. It was also noted that the school's graduates in 2023 successfully passed the entrance exams at 17 universities from the Top 100 according to Times Higher Education.
