Bowdoin College (BC)

Bowdoin College (abbreviated as BC) is a non-profit private higher education institution in America that has been conducting its scientific and educational activities since 1794. The campus is located in the city of Brunswick.

Bowdoin College is a nationally recognized private liberal arts college located in the scenic coastal region of Maine.

The institution adheres to a philosophy of service to the common good: students are selected not only on academic merit, but also on personal qualities, and the education combines academic rigor with curriculum flexibility.

The academic year is divided into two semesters: fall and spring. The fall semester begins in early September, exams take place in December and May, and the graduation ceremony is held at the end of May. Fall and spring breaks are provided throughout the year.
