The famous School of Schaffhausen has received international recognition as one of the best schools in Switzerland for study on the IB program: the international baccalaureate and the diploma of the same name give the right to enter the best universities in any country in the world. At school, boys and girls from 14 to 18 can study. The program of the international baccalaureate is designed for 2 years and for students of 16-18 years (grades 11-12). The total number of subjects studied at this stage is 11: among them, students choose 6 priority disciplines, relying on their own interests and inclinations, as well as on the requirements of the future profession. Teachers recommend observing the academic balance and choosing a variety of specialties and directions: it is recommended that the curriculum include foreign languages (minimum 2), mathematics and computer literacy, social (human) and natural sciences. Of the selected subjects, 3 is being studied at the standard level, and 3 is being studied on an advanced level.
The IB program and the diploma of the same name are widely recognized and appreciated all over the world - this is an ideal option for students who are not fully determined with the university and the country where they plan to receive higher education.

For pupils who choose accommodation on a full board basis, there is a spacious and comfortable residence Büsingen on the banks of the River Rhine in a quiet village. Boys and girls live separately: for students there are cozy rooms for 1-3 people with bathrooms (private bedrooms are usually occupied by high school students), and public places include living rooms for rest and small functional kitchens. All pupils are constantly under the supervision of qualified and experienced educators, who, nevertheless, bring up independence and self-sufficiency in children: for example, on weekends they are allowed to cook on their own or are sent to the city for shopping.
In their spare time students of the International School of Schaffhausen will find it difficult to get bored: for them, there are many clubs, optional sections and communities where you can work on your favorite business and find like-minded people. Among the most popular studios are music and theater groups, a culinary club, a poetic club and a variety of sports sections.

Applicants of the International School of Schaffhausen must undergo a personal interview, as well as pass an examination in French and / or English, proving a sufficiently high level of language education. The admission committee will need to provide a report card with grades from the previous school (for the last 3 years), characteristics from the teachers, the head teacher and the director, as well as all kinds of letters, thank you letters, cups and medals for achievements in various fields.
