Blackburn College is a college that provides programs of additional and higher education.
The institution was founded in 1888 as Blackburn Technical College, specializing in mechanical engineering and textile production. Now about 400 students study here, about 1% of whom are representatives of many countries: Australia, Pakistan, Spain, etc.

Accommodation, meals, prices
College students live in six dormitories:
- Butler Hall is a three-storey building with six wings, equipped for the accommodation of students who are passionate about social work and social activities.
- Stoddard Hall is a large residential building where creative students are accommodated: writers, musicians, poets, artists. Men and women live in different parts of the house, but share common areas.
- Challacombe Hall is a building for male athletes.
- Graham Hall is the quietest building of all dormitories. High school students and group leaders live here together. The silence regime operates 23 hours a day, and in the remaining hour there is a "politeness mode" - noise should be minimized.
- Jones-Allison Hall is a three-story house for female female athletes with spacious rooms and large windows.
- Jewell Hall is the largest residential building of the college. In its wings live students, divided by gender.
Each living room of the dormitories has the necessary furniture. Common in the buildings are showers and toilets, kitchens, laundries, seating areas and living rooms. All rooms have air conditioning and heating system, fire alarm and CCTV cameras for general security.
The cost of annual residence is $ 5330 per person.
Every student on campus should have a meal plan. The college has a large DING canteen where students can pick up meals as planned or snack during breaks. Kitchen staff carefully monitor the dietary needs, allergic reactions of individual students - all products have a sticker with allergens in their composition.
