Ashfield College Ireland, located in Dublin, has announced the launch of a unique educational program for high school students. The project was called the Transition Year Football Programme and will begin in the academic year 2026/2027. The new initiative combines the school's academic curriculum with daily training and theoretical study of football: the curriculum stipulates individual development courses, lectures on aspects of the profession such as player scouting, club operations, contract systems and coaching team structure. In addition to regular training and classic classes, schoolchildren will be able to go on excursions abroad with the opportunity to visit the stadiums of famous clubs and watch matches.
The Training121 provider will take care of the preparation of athletes and conducting classes. You can apply for admission to the study programme now.
Ashfield College is part of the City Education Group, along with City College Dublin and City Language School.
